Descriptions

The Strong Testimonials WordPress plugin before 3.1.12 does not validate and escape some of its Testimonial fields before outputting them back in a page/post, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. The attack requires a specific view to be performed

The Strong Testimonials plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Full Name field parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.11 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
