Descriptions
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: msft: fix slab-use-after-free in msft_do_close() Tying the msft->data lifetime to hdev by freeing it in
hci_release_dev() to fix the following case: [use]
msft_do_close() msft = hdev->msft_data; if (!msft) ...(1) <- passed. return; mutex_lock(&msft->filter_lock); ...(4) <- used after freed. [free]
msft_unregister() msft = hdev->msft_data; hdev->msft_data = NULL; ...(2) kfree(msft); ...(3) <- msft is freed. ==================================================================

En el kernel de Linux, se resolvió la siguiente vulnerabilidad: Bluetooth: msft: corrija slab-use-after-free en msft_do_close() Vinculando la vida útil de msft->data a hdev liberándolo en hci_release_dev() para solucionar el siguiente caso: [usar] msft_do_close() msft = hdev->msft_data; if (!msft) ...(1) <- aprobado. devolver; mutex_lock(&msft->filter_lock); ...(4) <- usado después de liberado. [gratis] msft_unregister() msft = hdev->msft_data; hdev->msft_data = NULL; ...(2) klibre(msft); ...(3) <- se libera msft. ==================================================== ================ ERROR: KASAN: slab-use-after-free en __mutex_lock_common kernel/locking/mutex.c:587 [en línea] ERROR: KASAN: slab-use-after -free en __mutex_lock+0x8f/0xc30 kernel/locking/mutex.c:752 Lectura de tamaño 8 en addr ffff888106cbbca8 por tarea kworker/u5:2/309

Benedict Schlüter, Supraja Sridhara, Andrin Bertschi, and Shweta Shinde discovered that an untrusted hypervisor could inject malicious #VC interrupts and compromise the security guarantees of AMD SEV-SNP. This flaw is known as WeSee. A local attacker in control of the hypervisor could use this to expose sensitive information or possibly execute arbitrary code in the trusted execution environment. Several security issues were discovered in the Linux kernel. An attacker could possibly use these to compromise the system.
