Descriptions

The Newsletter Popup WordPress plugin through 1.2 does not have CSRF check when deleting subscriber, which could allow attackers to make logged in admins perform such action via a CSRF attack

The Newsletter Popup plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.2. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the wp_newsletter_show_localrecord page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete subscribers via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
