Descriptions
Use of Cryptographically Weak Pseudo-Random Number Generator (PRNG) in the SonicOS SSLVPN authentication token generator that, in certain cases, can be predicted by an attacker potentially resulting in authentication bypass.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to bypass authentication on affected installations of SonicWALL NSv. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the generation of cookies. The issue results from the use of a cryptographically weak pseudo-random number generator. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to bypass authentication on the system.
