Descriptions
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Consider the NULL character when validating the event length strlen() returns a string length excluding the null byte. If the string
length equals to the maximum buffer length, the buffer will have no
space for the NULL terminating character. This commit checks this condition and returns failure for it.

Ye Zhang and Nicolas Wu discovered that the io_uring subsystem in the Linux kernel did not properly handle locking for rings with IOPOLL, leading to a double-free vulnerability. A local attacker could use this to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code. Several security issues were discovered in the Linux kernel. An attacker could possibly use these to compromise the system.
