In WhatsUp Gold versions released before 2023.1.3, 

an unauthenticated Arbitrary File Read issue exists in Wug.UI.Areas.Wug.Controllers.SessionController.CachedCSS. This vulnerability allows reading of any file with iisapppool\NmConsole privileges.

En las versiones de WhatsUp Gold lanzadas antes de 2023.1.3, existe un problema de lectura arbitraria de archivos no autenticados en Wug.UI.Areas.Wug.Controllers.SessionController.CachedCSS. Esta vulnerabilidad permite la lectura de cualquier archivo con privilegios iisapppool\NmConsole.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Progress Software WhatsUp Gold. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the implementation of LoadCSSUsingBasePath method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose information in the context of the service account.
