Descriptions

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: cx24116: prevent overflows on SNR calculus as reported by Coverity, if reading SNR registers fail, a negative
number will be returned, causing an underflow when reading SNR
registers. Prevent that.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: cx24116: prevent overflows on SNR calculus as reported by Coverity, if reading SNR registers fail, a negative number will be returned, causing an underflow when reading SNR registers. Prevent that.

Ye Zhang and Nicolas Wu discovered that the io_uring subsystem in the Linux kernel did not properly handle locking for rings with IOPOLL, leading to a double-free vulnerability. A local attacker could use this to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code. Several security issues were discovered in the Linux kernel. An attacker could possibly use these to compromise the system.
