Descriptions

The Events Calendar WordPress plugin before 6.8.2.1 is missing access checks in the REST API, allowing for unauthenticated users to access information about password protected events.

The The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 6.8.2 via the /wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events/ REST API due to insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract data from password protected events that they should not have access to.
