Descriptions

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sctp: Prevent autoclose integer overflow in sctp_association_init() While by default max_autoclose equals to INT_MAX / HZ, one may set
net.sctp.max_autoclose to UINT_MAX. There is code in
sctp_association_init() that can consequently trigger overflow.

Ziming Zhang discovered that the DRM driver for VMware Virtual GPU did not properly handle certain error conditions, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. A local attacker could possibly trigger this vulnerability to cause a denial of service. Ye Zhang and Nicolas Wu discovered that the io_uring subsystem in the Linux kernel did not properly handle locking for rings with IOPOLL, leading to a double-free vulnerability. A local attacker could use this to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code.
