Descriptions
The Ditty WordPress plugin before 3.1.45 does not sanitise and escape some parameters, which could allow users with a role as low as Contributor to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
The Ditty – Responsive News Tickers, Sliders, and Lists plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Tiny MCE block in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.44 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
