JavaScript code running while transforming a document with the XSLTProcessor could lead to a use-after-free. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 137, Firefox ESR < 115.22, Firefox ESR < 128.9, Thunderbird < 137, and Thunderbird ESR < 128.9.

An update for thunderbird is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Advanced Mission Critical Update Support, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Update Services for SAP Solutions, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 Telecommunications Update Service. Issues addressed include spoofing and use-after-free vulnerabilities.
