Descriptions

The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in watchOS 11.5, tvOS 18.5, iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5, macOS Sequoia 15.5, visionOS 2.5, Safari 18.5. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to memory corruption.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Apple Safari. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of scrollbar animation. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the browser process.

macOS Sequoia 15.5 addresses bypass, code execution, double free, information leakage, integer overflow, out of bounds read, and use-after-free vulnerabilities.
