CVE-2024-20352
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-20352
A vulnerability in Cisco Emergency Responder could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a directory traversal attack, which could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient protections for the web UI of an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted requests to the web UI. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions with the privilege level of the affected user, such as accessing password or log files or uploading and deleting existing files from the system. Una vulnerabilidad en Cisco Emergency Responder podría permitir que un atacante remoto autenticado lleve a cabo un ataque directory traversal, lo que podría permitirle realizar acciones arbitrarias en un dispositivo afectado. • https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-cem-csrf-suCmNjFr • CWE-23: Relative Path Traversal •
CVE-2023-20259
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2023-20259
A vulnerability in an API endpoint of multiple Cisco Unified Communications Products could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause high CPU utilization, which could impact access to the web-based management interface and cause delays with call processing. This API is not used for device management and is unlikely to be used in normal operations of the device. This vulnerability is due to improper API authentication and incomplete validation of the API request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to a specific API on the device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition due to high CPU utilization, which could negatively impact user traffic and management access. When the attack stops, the device will recover without manual intervention. • https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-cucm-apidos-PGsDcdNF • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •
CVE-2023-20101
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2023-20101
A vulnerability in Cisco Emergency Responder could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to log in to an affected device using the root account, which has default, static credentials that cannot be changed or deleted. This vulnerability is due to the presence of static user credentials for the root account that are typically reserved for use during development. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using the account to log in to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to log in to the affected system and execute arbitrary commands as the root user. • https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-cer-priv-esc-B9t3hqk9 • CWE-798: Use of Hard-coded Credentials •
CVE-2023-20266
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2023-20266
A vulnerability in Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM), Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME), and Cisco Unity Connection could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to elevate privileges to root on an affected device. This vulnerability exists because the application does not properly restrict the files that are being used for upgrades. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a crafted upgrade file. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to elevate privileges to root. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid platform administrator credentials on an affected device. • https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-cucm-priv-esc-D8Bky5eg • CWE-269: Improper Privilege Management CWE-347: Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature •
CVE-2021-44228 – Apache Log4j2 Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-44228
Apache Log4j2 2.0-beta9 through 2.15.0 (excluding security releases 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1) JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled. From log4j 2.15.0, this behavior has been disabled by default. From version 2.16.0 (along with 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1), this functionality has been completely removed. Note that this vulnerability is specific to log4j-core and does not affect log4net, log4cxx, or other Apache Logging Services projects. • https://github.com/fullhunt/log4j-scan https://github.com/Puliczek/CVE-2021-44228-PoC-log4j-bypass-words https://github.com/cyberstruggle/L4sh https://github.com/woodpecker-appstore/log4j-payload-generator https://github.com/tangxiaofeng7/apache-log4j-poc https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/51183 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50592 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50590 https://github.com/logpresso/CVE-2021-44228-Scanner https://github.com/jas502n/Log4j2-CVE-2021-44228 h • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data CWE-917: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an Expression Language Statement ('Expression Language Injection') •
