Apache Log4j2 2.0-beta9 through 2.15.0 (excluding security releases 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1) JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled. From log4j 2.15.0, this behavior has been disabled by default. From version 2.16.0 (along with 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1), this functionality has been completely removed. Note that this vulnerability is specific to log4j-core and does not affect log4net, log4cxx, or other Apache Logging Services projects. • https://github.com/fullhunt/log4j-scan https://github.com/Puliczek/CVE-2021-44228-PoC-log4j-bypass-words https://github.com/cyberstruggle/L4sh https://github.com/woodpecker-appstore/log4j-payload-generator https://github.com/tangxiaofeng7/apache-log4j-poc https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/51183 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50592 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50590 https://github.com/logpresso/CVE-2021-44228-Scanner https://github.com/jas502n/Log4j2-CVE-2021-44228 h • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data CWE-917: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an Expression Language Statement ('Expression Language Injection') •

Cisco Security Agent (CSA) for Linux 4.5 before 4.5.1.657 and 5.0 before 5.0.0.193, as used by Unified CallManager (CUCM) and Unified Presence Server (CUPS), allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource consumption) via a port scan with certain options. • http://secunia.com/advisories/22574 http://securitytracker.com/id?1017118 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/products_security_advisory09186a00807693c7.shtml http://www.osvdb.org/30055 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/20737 http://www.vupen.com/english/advisories/2006/4198 https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/29829 •

Multiple TCP implementations with Protection Against Wrapped Sequence Numbers (PAWS) with the timestamps option enabled allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (connection loss) via a spoofed packet with a large timer value, which causes the host to discard later packets because they appear to be too old. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/1008 ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/CERT/advisories/FreeBSD-SA-05:15.tcp.asc ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/updates/UnixWare/SCOSA-2005.64/SCOSA-2005.64.txt http://secunia.com/advisories/15393 http://secunia.com/advisories/15417 http://secunia.com/advisories/18222 http://secunia.com/advisories/18662 http://support.avaya.com/elmodocs2/security/ASA-2006-032.htm http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/cisco-sn-20050518-tcpts.shtml http:/& •

The buffer overflow trigger in Cisco Security Agent (CSA) before 4.0.3 build 728 waits five minutes for a user response before terminating the process, which could allow remote attackers to bypass the buffer overflow protection by sending additional buffer overflow attacks within the five minute timeout period. • http://www.ciac.org/ciac/bulletins/p-036.shtml http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/cisco-sa-20041111-csa.shtml http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/11659 https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/18037 •
