The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023. El protocolo HTTP/2 permite una denegación de servicio (consumo de recursos del servidor) porque la cancelación de solicitudes puede restablecer muchas transmisiones rápidamente, como se explotó en la naturaleza entre agosto y octubre de 2023. A flaw was found in handling multiplexed streams in the HTTP/2 protocol. A client can repeatedly make a request for a new multiplex stream and immediately send an RST_STREAM frame to cancel it. This creates extra work for the server setting up and tearing down the streams while not hitting any server-side limit for the maximum number of active streams per connection, resulting in a denial of service due to server resource consumption. • https://github.com/imabee101/CVE-2023-44487 https://github.com/studiogangster/CVE-2023-44487 https://github.com/bcdannyboy/CVE-2023-44487 https://github.com/sigridou/CVE-2023-44487- https://github.com/ByteHackr/CVE-2023-44487 https://github.com/ReToCode/golang-CVE-2023-44487 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2023/10/13/4 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2023/10/13/9 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2023/10/18/4 http://www. • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •

A vulnerability exists in certain .Net Framework API's and Visual Studio in the way they parse URL's, aka '.NET Framework and Visual Studio Spoofing Vulnerability'. Existe una vulnerabilidad en determinadas API de .Net Framework y en Visual Studio en la manera en la que analizan sintácticamente las URL. Esto también se conoce como ".NET Framework and Visual Studio Spoofing Vulnerability". • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106890 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0349 https://portal.msrc.microsoft.com/en-US/security-guidance/advisory/CVE-2019-0657 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2019-0657 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1673891 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •

msdia.dll in Microsoft Debug Interface Access (DIA) SDK, as distributed in Microsoft Visual Studio before 2013, does not properly validate an unspecified variable before use in calculating a dynamic-call address, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted PDB file. msdia.dll en Microsoft Debug Interface Access (DIA) SDK, distribuido en Microsoft Visual Studio anterior a 2013, no valida debidamente una variable no especificada antes de utilizarla para calcular una dirección de llamada dinámica, lo que permite a atacantes remotos ejecutar código arbitrario o causar una denegación de servicio (corrupción de memoria) a través de un archivo PDB manipulado. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Debug Interface Access SDK. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of PDB files. The issue lies in a failure to sanitize a value which is then used in the calculation of an address for a dynamic call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current process. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/67398 http://zerodayinitiative.com/advisories/ZDI-14-129 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •

The DataGrid ActiveX control in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual FoxPro 8.0 SP1 and 9.0 SP1 and SP2 does not properly handle errors during access to incorrectly initialized objects, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML document, related to corruption of the "system state," aka "DataGrid Control Memory Corruption Vulnerability." • http://support.avaya.com/elmodocs2/security/ASA-2008-473.htm http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/32591 http://www.securitytracker.com/id?1021369 http://www.us-cert.gov/cas/techalerts/TA08-344A.html http://www.vupen.com/english/advisories/2008/3382 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/securitybulletins/2008/ms08-070 https://oval.cisecurity.org/repository/search/definition/oval%3Aorg.mitre.oval%3Adef%3A5894 • CWE-264: Permissions, Privileges, and Access Controls •
