A vulnerability has been identified in EN100 Ethernet module DNP3 IP variant (All versions), EN100 Ethernet module IEC 104 variant (All versions), EN100 Ethernet module IEC 61850 variant (All versions < V4.40), EN100 Ethernet module Modbus TCP variant (All versions), EN100 Ethernet module PROFINET IO variant (All versions). Affected applications contains a memory corruption vulnerability while parsing specially crafted HTTP packets to /txtrace endpoint manupulating a specific argument. • https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-865333.pdf • CWE-119: Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •

Affected devices contain a vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated attacker to trigger a denial-of-service condition. The vulnerability can be triggered if a large amount of DCP reset packets are sent to the device.

Profinet-IO (PNIO) stack versions prior V06.00 do not properly limit internal resource allocation when multiple legitimate diagnostic package requests are sent to the DCE-RPC interface. This could lead to a denial of service condition due to lack of memory for devices that include a vulnerable version of the stack. The security vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker with network access to an affected device. Successful exploitation requires no system privileges and no user interaction. An attacker could use the vulnerability to compromise the availability of the device. • https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/html/ssa-780073.html https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-780073.pdf • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •

The web interface could allow Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks if an attacker is able to modify content of particular web pages, causing the application to behave in unexpected ways for legitimate users. Successful exploitation does not require for an attacker to be authenticated to the web interface. This could allow the attacker to read or modify contents of the web application. At the time of advisory publication no public exploitation of this security. vulnerability was known. • https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-418979.pdf https://www.us-cert.gov/ics/advisories/icsa-19-344-07 • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
