CVE-2019-7317 – libpng: use-after-free in png_image_free in png.c
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-7317
png_image_free in png.c in libpng 1.6.x before 1.6.37 has a use-after-free because png_image_free_function is called under png_safe_execute. La función png_image_free en el archivo png.c en libpng versiones 1.6.x anteriores a 1.6.37, presenta un uso de la memoria previamente liberada porque la función png_image_free_function es llamada bajo png_safe_execute. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00002.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00029.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00084.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00038.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00044.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/152561/Slackware-Security-Advisory-libpng-Updates.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/108098 https:/ • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-416: Use After Free •
CVE-2018-16881 – rsyslog: imptcp: integer overflow when Octet-Counted TCP Framing is enabled
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-16881
A denial of service vulnerability was found in rsyslog in the imptcp module. An attacker could send a specially crafted message to the imptcp socket, which would cause rsyslog to crash. Versions before 8.27.0 are vulnerable. Se ha detectado una vulnerabilidad de denegación de servicio (DoS) en rsyslog en el módulo imptcp. Un atacante podría enviar un mensaje especialmente manipulado al socket imptcp, lo que conduciría al cierre forzado de rsyslog. • https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2019:2501 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2110 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2437 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2439 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2018-16881 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/05/msg00028.html https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2018-16881 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1658366 • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound •
CVE-2018-16866 – systemd: out-of-bounds read when parsing a crafted syslog message
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-16866
An out of bounds read was discovered in systemd-journald in the way it parses log messages that terminate with a colon ':'. A local attacker can use this flaw to disclose process memory data. Versions from v221 to v239 are vulnerable. Se ha descubierto una lectura fuera de límites en systemd-journald en la forma en la que analiza mensajes de registro que terminan con dos puntos ":". Un atacante local puede emplear este error para divulgar datos de la memoria del proceso. • http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/152841/System-Down-A-systemd-journald-Exploit.html http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/May/21 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2019/05/10/4 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106527 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2091 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3222 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2020:0593 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2018-16866 https://seclists.org/bugtraq/2019/May/25 • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor •
CVE-2017-10661 – Linux kernel < 4.10.15 - Race Condition Privilege Escalation
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2017-10661
Race condition in fs/timerfd.c in the Linux kernel before 4.10.15 allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (list corruption or use-after-free) via simultaneous file-descriptor operations that leverage improper might_cancel queueing. A race condition was found in the Linux kernel before version 4.11-rc1 in 'fs/timerfd.c' file which allows a local user to cause a kernel list corruption or use-after-free via simultaneous operations with a file descriptor which leverage improper 'might_cancel' queuing. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to cause a denial of service of the system. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out, although we believe it is unlikely. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/43345 http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=1e38da300e1e395a15048b0af1e5305bd91402f6 http://www.debian.org/security/2017/dsa-3981 http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.10.15 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/100215 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:3083 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:3096 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:4057 https://access.redhat.com/e • CWE-362: Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') CWE-416: Use After Free •
