CVE-2018-17461
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-17461
An out of bounds read in PDFium in Google Chrome prior to 68.0.3440.75 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted PDF file. Una lectura fuera de límites en PDFium en Google Chrome, en versiones anteriores a la 68.0.3440.75, permitía que un atacante remoto pudiese realizar una lectura de memoria fuera de límites mediante un archivo PDF manipulado. • https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2018/07/stable-channel-update-for-desktop.html https://crbug.com/874359 • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
CVE-2018-16885 – kernel: out-of-bound read in memcpy_fromiovecend()
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-16885
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel that allows the userspace to call memcpy_fromiovecend() and similar functions with a zero offset and buffer length which causes the read beyond the buffer boundaries, in certain cases causing a memory access fault and a system halt by accessing invalid memory address. This issue only affects kernel version 3.10.x as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106296 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2029 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2043 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2018-16885 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2018-16885 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1661503 • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
CVE-2018-20662 – poppler: SIGABRT PDFDoc::setup class in PDFDoc.cc
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-20662
In Poppler 0.72.0, PDFDoc::setup in PDFDoc.cc allows attackers to cause a denial-of-service (application crash caused by Object.h SIGABRT, because of a wrong return value from PDFDoc::setup) by crafting a PDF file in which an xref data structure is mishandled during extractPDFSubtype processing. • https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2022 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2713 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/commit/9fd5ec0e6e5f763b190f2a55ceb5427cfe851d5f https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/issues/706 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/03/msg00008.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/11/msg00014.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/6OSCOYM3AMFFBJWSBWY6VJVLNE5JD7YS https://li • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-617: Reachable Assertion •
CVE-2018-14718 – jackson-databind: arbitrary code execution in slf4j-ext class
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-14718
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.7 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging failure to block the slf4j-ext class from polymorphic deserialization. Las versiones 2.x de FasterXML jackson-databind anteriores a la 2.9.7 podrían permitir a los atacantes remotos ejecutar código arbitrario aprovechando un fallo para bloquear la clase slf4j-ext de deserialización polimórfica. A flaw was discovered in jackson-databind, where it would permit polymorphic deserialization of a malicious object using slf4j classes. An attacker could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106601 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2019:0959 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0782 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0877 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1782 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1797 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1822 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1823 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2804 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2858& • CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data •
