CVE-2019-8675 – cups: stack-buffer-overflow in libcups's asn1_get_type function
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-8675
A buffer overflow issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Mojave 10.14.6, Security Update 2019-004 High Sierra, Security Update 2019-004 Sierra. An attacker in a privileged network position may be able to execute arbitrary code. Se abordó un problema de desbordamiento del búfer con un manejo de la memoria mejorada. Este problema se corrigió en macOS Mojave versión 10.14.6, Security Update 2019-004 High Sierra, Security Update 2019-004 Sierra. • https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210348 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2019-8675 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1738455 • CWE-120: Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') CWE-121: Stack-based Buffer Overflow •
CVE-2019-9506 – Blutooth BR/EDR specification does not specify sufficient encryption key length and allows an attacker to influence key length negotiation
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-9506
The Bluetooth BR/EDR specification up to and including version 5.1 permits sufficiently low encryption key length and does not prevent an attacker from influencing the key length negotiation. This allows practical brute-force attacks (aka "KNOB") that can decrypt traffic and inject arbitrary ciphertext without the victim noticing. A flaw was discovered in the Bluetooth protocol. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00036.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00037.html http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/11 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/13 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/14 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/15 http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/publications/publication12404-abstract.html http://www.huawei.com/en/psirt/security-advisories/huawei-sa-20190828-01-knob-en https: • CWE-310: Cryptographic Issues CWE-327: Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm •
CVE-2019-11042 – heap-buffer-overflow on exif_process_user_comment in EXIF extension
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-11042
When PHP EXIF extension is parsing EXIF information from an image, e.g. via exif_read_data() function, in PHP versions 7.1.x below 7.1.31, 7.2.x below 7.2.21 and 7.3.x below 7.3.8 it is possible to supply it with data what will cause it to read past the allocated buffer. This may lead to information disclosure or crash. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00019.html http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Oct/15 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Oct/55 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3299 https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=78256 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/08/msg00010.html https://seclists.org/bugtraq/2019/Oct/9 https://seclists.org/bugtraq/2019/Sep/35 https://seclists.org/bugtraq/2019/Sep/38 https://security.netapp • CWE-120: Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •

CVE-2019-13565
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-13565
An issue was discovered in OpenLDAP 2.x before 2.4.48. When using SASL authentication and session encryption, and relying on the SASL security layers in slapd access controls, it is possible to obtain access that would otherwise be denied via a simple bind for any identity covered in those ACLs. After the first SASL bind is completed, the sasl_ssf value is retained for all new non-SASL connections. Depending on the ACL configuration, this can affect different types of operations (searches, modifications, etc.). In other words, a successful authorization step completed by one user affects the authorization requirement for a different user. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00053.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00058.html http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Dec/26 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r1b103833cb5bc8466e24ff0ecc5e75b45a705334ab6a444e64e840a0%40%3Cissues.bookkeeper.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r58af02e294bd07f487e2c64ffc0a29b837db5600e33b6e698b9d696b%40%3Cissues.bookkeeper.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/rf4c02775860db415b4955778a131c2795223f61cb8c6a450893651e4%40%3Cissues. •
