In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ibmvnic: free reset-work-item when flushing Fix a tiny memory leak when flushing the reset work queue. A memory leak flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IBM Virtual Network Interface Controller (ibmvnic ) driver. This issue involved not properly freeing memory associated with a reset work item when the reset work queue is flushed, causing the reset-work-item not to be deallocated. This flaw allows an attacker with control over the virtual NIC to repeatedly trigger interface resets to cause small amounts of memory to leak. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: spi-zynq-qspi: Fix a NULL pointer dereference in zynq_qspi_exec_mem_op() In zynq_qspi_exec_mem_op(), kzalloc() is directly used in memset(), which could lead to a NULL pointer dereference on failure of kzalloc(). Fix this bug by adding a check of tmpbuf. This bug was found by a static analyzer. The analysis employs differential checking to identify inconsistent security operations (e.g., checks or kfrees) between two code paths and confirms that the inconsistent operations are not recovered in the current function or the callers, so they constitute bugs. Note that, as a bug found by static analysis, it can be a false positive or hard to trigger. Multiple researchers have cross-reviewed the bug. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: Fix potential context UAFs gem_context_register() makes the context visible to userspace, and which point a separate thread can trigger the I915_GEM_CONTEXT_DESTROY ioctl. So we need to ensure that nothing uses the ctx ptr after this. And we need to ensure that adding the ctx to the xarray is the *last* thing that gem_context_register() does with the ctx pointer.
