In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Use device rbtree in iopf reporting path The existing I/O page fault handler currently locates the PCI device by calling pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot(). This function searches the list of all PCI devices until the desired device is found. To improve lookup efficiency, replace it with device_rbtree_find() to search the device within the probed device rbtree. The I/O page fault is initiated by the device, which does not have any synchronization mechanism with the software to ensure that the device stays in the probed device tree. Theoretically, a device could be released by the IOMMU subsystem after device_rbtree_find() and before iopf_get_dev_fault_param(), which would cause a use-after-free problem. Add a mutex to synchronize the I/O page fault reporting path and the IOMMU release device path. This lock doesn't introduce any performance overhead, as the conflict between I/O page fault reporting and device releasing is very rare. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3d39238991e745c5df85785604f037f35d9d1b15 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/def054b01a867822254e1dda13d587f5c7a99e2a • CWE-416: Use After Free •

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Guard stack limits against 32bit overflow This patch promotes the arithmetic around checking stack bounds to be done in the 64-bit domain, instead of the current 32bit. The arithmetic implies adding together a 64-bit register with a int offset. The register was checked to be below 1<<29 when it was variable, but not when it was fixed. The offset either comes from an instruction (in which case it is 16 bit), from another register (in which case the caller checked it to be below 1<<29 [1]), or from the size of an argument to a kfunc (in which case it can be a u32 [2]). Between the register being inconsistently checked to be below 1<<29, and the offset being up to an u32, it appears that we were open to overflowing the `int`s which were currently used for arithmetic. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix hang/underflow when transitioning to ODM4:1 [Why] Under some circumstances, disabling an OPTC and attempting to reclaim its OPP(s) for a different OPTC could cause a hang/underflow due to OPPs not being properly disconnected from the disabled OPTC. [How] Ensure that all OPPs are unassigned from an OPTC when it gets disabled. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ae62f1dde66a6f0eee98defc4c7a346bd5acd239 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4b6b479b2da6badff099b2e3abf0248936eefbf5 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e7b2b108cdeab76a7e7324459e50b0c1214c0386 •
