A flaw was found in samba. A race condition in the password lockout code may lead to the risk of brute force attacks being successful if special conditions are met. Se ha encontrado un fallo en samba. Una condición de ejecución en el código de bloqueo de contraseñas puede conllevar el riesgo de que los ataques de fuerza bruta tengan éxito si se cumplen unas condiciones especiales. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1929800 https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14611 https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/202309-06 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20230331-0005 • CWE-362: Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') •

sssd: libsss_certmap fails to sanitise certificate data used in LDAP filters A vulnerability was found in SSSD, in the libsss_certmap functionality. PKINIT enables a client to authenticate to the KDC using an X.509 certificate and the corresponding private key, rather than a passphrase or keytab. FreeIPA uses mapping rules to map a certificate presented during a PKINIT authentication request to the corresponding principal. The mapping filter is vulnerable to LDAP filter injection. The search result can be influenced by values in the certificate, which may be attacker controlled. • https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2022-4254 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2149894 https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/commit/a2b9a84460429181f2a4fa7e2bb5ab49fd561274 https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/issues/5135 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/05/msg00028.html • CWE-90: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an LDAP Query ('LDAP Injection') •

A buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux Kernel. This issue could allow the leakage of both stack and heap addresses, and potentially allow Local Privilege Escalation to the root user via arbitrary code execution. • https://github.com/TurtleARM/CVE-2023-0179-PoC https://github.com/H4K6/CVE-2023-0179-PoC http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/171601/Kernel-Live-Patch-Security-Notice-LNS-0093-1.html https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2161713 https://seclists.org/oss-sec/2023/q1/20 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20230511-0003 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2023-0179 • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound •
