CVE-2019-5420 – Ruby On Rails - DoubleTap Development Mode secret_key_base Remote Code Execution
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-5420
A remote code execution vulnerability in development mode Rails <5.2.2.1, <6.0.0.beta3 can allow an attacker to guess the automatically generated development mode secret token. This secret token can be used in combination with other Rails internals to escalate to a remote code execution exploit. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/46785 https://github.com/knqyf263/CVE-2019-5420 https://github.com/j4k0m/CVE-2019-5420 https://github.com/laffray/ruby-RCE-CVE-2019-5420- https://github.com/scumdestroy/CVE-2019-5420.rb https://github.com/trickstersec/CVE-2019-5420 https://github.com/Eremiel/CVE-2019-5420 https://github.com/PenTestical/CVE-2019-5420 https://github.com/AnasTaoutaou/CVE-2019-5420 https://github.com/CyberSecurityUP/CVE-2019-5420-POC https://githu • CWE-77: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') CWE-330: Use of Insufficiently Random Values •
CVE-2019-5419 – rubygem-actionpack: denial of service vulnerability in Action View
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-5419
There is a possible denial of service vulnerability in Action View (Rails) <5.2.2.1, <5.1.6.2, <5.0.7.2, <4.2.11.1 where specially crafted accept headers can cause action view to consume 100% cpu and make the server unresponsive. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00011.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00025.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00001.html http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2019/03/22/1 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0796 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1147 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1149 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1289 https:/ • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling •
CVE-2019-9917
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-9917
ZNC before 1.7.3-rc1 allows an existing remote user to cause a Denial of Service (crash) via invalid encoding. ZNC, en versiones anteriores a la 1.7.3-rc1, permite que un usuario remoto existente provoque una denegación de servicio (cierre inesperado) mediante el cifrado inválido. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00037.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00018.html https://github.com/znc/znc/commit/64613bc8b6b4adf1e32231f9844d99cd512b8973 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/7WTRBTPL7WWKQ7DZ2ALDTCGYUWSE6SL3 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/WRHCMHI44AW5CJ22WV676BKFUWWCLA7T https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedor • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
CVE-2019-3878 – mod_auth_mellon: authentication bypass in ECP flow
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-3878
A vulnerability was found in mod_auth_mellon before v0.14.2. If Apache is configured as a reverse proxy and mod_auth_mellon is configured to only let through authenticated users (with the require valid-user directive), adding special HTTP headers that are normally used to start the special SAML ECP (non-browser based) can be used to bypass authentication. CVE-2019-9948 – python: Undocumented local_file protocol allows remote attackers to bypass protection mechanisms
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-9948
urllib in Python 2.x through 2.7.16 supports the local_file: scheme, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass protection mechanisms that blacklist file: URIs, as demonstrated by triggering a urllib.urlopen('local_file:///etc/passwd') call. urllib en Python, en versiones 2.x hasta la 2.7.16, soporta el esquema local_file:, lo que facilita que los atacantes remotos omitan los mecanismos de protección que ponen en lista negra los URI file:, tal y como queda demostrado con una llamada urllib.urlopen('local_file:///etc/passwd'). • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-04/msg00092.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00050.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/154927/Slackware-Security-Advisory-python-Updates.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/107549 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1700 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2030 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3335 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3520 https://bugs.python.o • CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') CWE-749: Exposed Dangerous Method or Function •
