https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-32323
AutoTrace v0.40.0 was discovered to contain a heap overflow via the ReadImage function at input-bmp.c:660. Se ha detectado que AutoTrace versión v0.40.0, contiene un desbordamiento de pila por medio de la función ReadImage en el archivo input-bmp.c:660 A buffer overflow flaw was found in the autotrace package. This flaw allows an attacker to trick the user into opening a maliciously crafted BMP image, triggering arbitrary code execution or causing the application to crash. • https://github.com/autotrace/autotrace/commit/2b44c173027736c64b3f379bd154c41bab745423 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/4CZVCQH4L7KC5GXLU6SCESXR5TGSKQ2H https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/UKZPC4WCDOJ7BPJOMZ46AV27RCABZRYA https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2022-32323 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2107471 • CWE-119: Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •
CVE-2022-32215 – nodejs: HTTP request smuggling due to incorrect parsing of multi-line Transfer-Encoding
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-32215
The llhttp parser <v14.20.1, <v16.17.1 and <v18.9.1 in the http module in Node.js does not correctly handle multi-line Transfer-Encoding headers. This can lead to HTTP Request Smuggling (HRS). A vulnerability was found in NodeJS due to the llhttp parser in the HTTP module incorrectly handling multi-line Transfer-Encoding headers. This issue can lead to HTTP Request Smuggling (HRS). • https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-332410.pdf https://hackerone.com/reports/1501679 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/2ICG6CSIB3GUWH5DUSQEVX53MOJW7LYK https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/QCNN3YG2BCLS4ZEKJ3CLSUT6AS7AXTH3 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/VMQK5L5SBYD47QQZ67LEMHNQ662GH3OY https://nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerability/july-2022-security-releases • CWE-444: Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') •
CVE-2022-32212 – nodejs: DNS rebinding in --inspect via invalid IP addresses
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-32212
A OS Command Injection vulnerability exists in Node.js versions <14.20.0, <16.20.0, <18.5.0 due to an insufficient IsAllowedHost check that can easily be bypassed because IsIPAddress does not properly check if an IP address is invalid before making DBS requests allowing rebinding attacks. A vulnerability was found in NodeJS, where the IsAllowedHost check can be easily bypassed because IsIPAddress does not properly check if an IP address is invalid or not. When an invalid IPv4 address is provided (for instance, 10.0.2.555 is provided), browsers (such as Firefox) will make DNS requests to the DNS server. This issue provides a vector for an attacker-controlled DNS server or a Man-in-the-middle attack (MITM) who can spoof DNS responses to perform a rebinding attack and then connect to the WebSocket debugger allowing for arbitrary code execution on the target system. • https://hackerone.com/reports/1632921 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2022-32212 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2105422 • CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') CWE-284: Improper Access Control CWE-703: Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions •

The llhttp parser <v14.20.1, <v16.17.1 and <v18.9.1 in the http module in Node.js does not correctly parse and validate Transfer-Encoding headers and can lead to HTTP Request Smuggling (HRS). A vulnerability was found in NodeJS due to improper validation of HTTP requests. The llhttp parser in the http module does not correctly parse and validate Transfer-Encoding headers. This issue can lead to HTTP Request Smuggling (HRS), causing web cache poisoning, and conducting XSS attacks. • https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-332410.pdf https://hackerone.com/reports/1524555 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/2ICG6CSIB3GUWH5DUSQEVX53MOJW7LYK https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/QCNN3YG2BCLS4ZEKJ3CLSUT6AS7AXTH3 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/VMQK5L5SBYD47QQZ67LEMHNQ662GH3OY https://nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerability/july-2022-security-releases • CWE-444: Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') •
CVE-2022-29187 – Bypass of safe.directory protections in Git
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-29187
Git is a distributed revision control system. Git prior to versions 2.37.1, 2.36.2, 2.35.4, 2.34.4, 2.33.4, 2.32.3, 2.31.4, and 2.30.5, is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all platforms. An unsuspecting user could still be affected by the issue reported in CVE-2022-24765, for example when navigating as root into a shared tmp directory that is owned by them, but where an attacker could create a git repository. Versions 2.37.1, 2.36.2, 2.35.4, 2.34.4, 2.33.4, 2.32.3, 2.31.4, and 2.30.5 contain a patch for this issue. The simplest way to avoid being affected by the exploit described in the example is to avoid running git as root (or an Administrator in Windows), and if needed to reduce its use to a minimum. • http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2022/Nov/1 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2022/07/14/1 https://github.blog/2022-04-12-git-security-vulnerability-announced https://github.com/git/git/security/advisories/GHSA-j342-m5hw-rr3v https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/12/msg00025.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/DDI325LOO2XBDDKLINOAQJEG6MHAURZE https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedorapro • CWE-282: Improper Ownership Management CWE-427: Uncontrolled Search Path Element •
