When a master password is set, it is required to be entered again before stored passwords can be accessed in the 'Saved Logins' dialog. It was found that locally stored passwords can be copied to the clipboard thorough the 'copy password' context menu item without re-entering the master password if the master password had been previously entered in the same session, allowing for potential theft of stored passwords. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 68.0.2 and Firefox ESR < 68.0.2. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00011.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00017.html https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1565780 https://www.mozilla.org/security/advisories/mfsa2019-24 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2019-11733 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1745687 • CWE-287: Improper Authentication CWE-306: Missing Authentication for Critical Function •

Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 66. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 67. If hyperthreading is not disabled, a timing attack vulnerability exists, similar to previous Spectre attacks. Apple has shipped macOS 10.14.5 with an option to disable hyperthreading in applications running untrusted code in a thread through a new sysctl. Firefox now makes use of it on the main thread and any worker threads. *Note: users need to update to macOS 10.14.5 in order to take advantage of this change.*. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.7, Firefox < 67, and Firefox ESR < 60.7. • https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1546544 https://mdsattacks.com https://www.mozilla.org/security/advisories/mfsa2019-13 https://www.mozilla.org/security/advisories/mfsa2019-14 https://www.mozilla.org/security/advisories/mfsa2019-15 • CWE-203: Observable Discrepancy •

A race condition is present in the crash generation server used to generate data for the crash reporter. This issue can lead to a use-after-free in the main process, resulting in a potentially exploitable crash and a sandbox escape. *Note: this vulnerability only affects Windows. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. A vulnerability exists in the Windows sandbox where an uninitialized value in memory can be leaked to a renderer from a broker when making a call to access an otherwise unavailable file. This results in the potential leaking of information stored at that memory location. *Note: this issue only occurs on Windows. Other operating systems are unaffected.*.
