An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in the QXL display device emulation in QEMU. The qxl_phys2virt() function does not check the size of the structure pointed to by the guest physical address, potentially reading past the end of the bar space into adjacent pages. A malicious guest user could use this flaw to crash the QEMU process on the host causing a denial of service condition. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2148506 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/GTVPHLLXJ65BUMFBUUZ35F3J632SLFRK https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/I7J5IRXJYLELW7D43A75LOWRUE5EU54O https://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/qemu-devel/2022-11/msg04143.html https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20230127-0012 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2022-4144 • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP). A missing lock when clearing sk_user_data can lead to a race condition and NULL pointer dereference. A local user could use this flaw to potentially crash the system causing a denial of service. Se encontró una falla en Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) del kernel de Linux. Un bloqueo faltante al borrar sk_user_data puede provocar una condición de ejecución y una desreferencia del puntero NULL. • https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/05/msg00005.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/7X5SPXMXXFANDASPCKER2JIQO2F3UHCP https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/AM5KFIE6JNZXHBA5A2KYDZAT3MEX2B67 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/JOKXNIM2R4FQCDRQV67UMAY6EBC72QFG https://lore.kernel.org/all/20221114191619.124659-1-jakub%40cloudflare.com/t https://lore.kernel.org& • CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference CWE-667: Improper Locking •

GNU Emacs through 28.2 allows attackers to execute commands via shell metacharacters in the name of a source-code file, because lib-src/etags.c uses the system C library function in its implementation of the ctags program. For example, a victim may use the "ctags *" command (suggested in the ctags documentation) in a situation where the current working directory has contents that depend on untrusted input. A flaw was found in Etags, the Ctags implementation of Emacs. • https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git/commit/?id=d48bb4874bc6cd3e69c7a15fc3c91cc141025c51 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/12/msg00046.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/FOSK3J7BBAEI4IITW2DRUKLQYUZYKH6Y https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/GOXIH2FDEQJEAARE52C3GHTLGQFBYPIB https://www.debian.org/security/2023/dsa-5314 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2022-45939 https://bugzill • CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') •

An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 6.0.10. l2cap_config_req in net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c has an integer wraparound via L2CAP_CONF_REQ packets. Se descubrió un problema en el kernel de Linux hasta la versión 6.0.10. l2cap_config_req en net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c tiene una envoltura de números enteros a través de paquetes L2CAP_CONF_REQ. An integer overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s L2CAP bluetooth functionality in how a user generates malicious L2CAP_CONF_REQ packets. This flaw allows a local or bluetooth connection user to crash the system. • https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/bluetooth/bluetooth-next.git/commit/?id=ae4569813a6e931258db627cdfe50dfb4f917d5d https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/03/msg00000.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/05/msg00006.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/NDAKCGDW6CQ6G3RZWYZJO454R3L5CTQB https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20230113-0008 https://www.debian.org/security/2023/dsa-5324 https://access.redhat.co • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound •

A blind Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was found in Moodle. This flaw exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in LTI provider library. The library does not utilise Moodle's inbuilt cURL helper, which resulted in a blind SSRF risk. An attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks. • http://git.moodle.org/gw?p=moodle.git&a=search&h=HEAD&st=commit&s=MDL-71920 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2142775 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/2DHYIIAUXUBHMBEDYU7TYNZXEN2W2SA2 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/74SXNGA5RIWM7QNX7H3G7SYIQLP4UUGV https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/NLRJB5JNKK3VVBLV3NH3RI7COEDAXSAB https://moodle.org/mod/foru • CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) •
