PHP through 7.1.11 enables potential SSRF in applications that accept an fsockopen or pfsockopen hostname argument with an expectation that the port number is constrained. Because a :port syntax is recognized, fsockopen will use the port number that is specified in the hostname argument, instead of the port number in the second argument of the function. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/97178 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1038158 https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=74216 https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=75505 https://github.com/php/php-src/commit/bab0b99f376dac9170ac81382a5ed526938d595a https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20180112-0001 https://www.sec-consult.com/fxdata/seccons/prod/temedia/advisories_txt/20170403-0_PHP_Misbehavior_of_fsockopen_function_v10.txt • CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) •

Off-by-one error in the phar_parse_pharfile function in ext/phar/phar.c in PHP before 5.6.30 and 7.0.x before 7.0.15 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted PHAR archive with an alias mismatch. • http://php.net/ChangeLog-5.php http://php.net/ChangeLog-7.php http://www.debian.org/security/2017/dsa-3783 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/95783 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1037659 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1296 https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=73768 https://github.com/php/php-src/commit/b28b8b2fee6dfa6fcd13305c581bb835689ac3be https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201702-29 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20180112-0001 https://www.tenable.co • CWE-193: Off-by-one Error •

Zend/zend_hash.c in PHP before 7.0.15 and 7.1.x before 7.1.1 mishandles certain cases that require large array allocations, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (integer overflow, uninitialized memory access, and use of arbitrary destructor function pointers) via crafted serialized data. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/95371 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1037659 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1296 https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=73832 https://github.com/php/php-src/commit/4cc0286f2f3780abc6084bcdae5dce595daa3c12 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20180112-0001 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2017-5340 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1412631 • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound CWE-456: Missing Initialization of a Variable •

ext/libxml/libxml.c in PHP before 5.5.22 and 5.6.x before 5.6.6, when PHP-FPM is used, does not isolate each thread from libxml_disable_entity_loader changes in other threads, which allows remote attackers to conduct XML External Entity (XXE) and XML Entity Expansion (XEE) attacks via a crafted XML document, a related issue to CVE-2015-5161. ext/libxml/libxml.c en PHP en versiones anteriores a 5.5.22 y 5.6.x en versiones anteriores a 5.6.6, cuando se utiliza PHP-FPM, no aisla cada hilo de cambios libxml_disable_entity_loader en otros hilos, lo que permite a atacantes remotos llevar a cabo ataques XML External Entity (XXE) y XML Entity Expansion (XEE) a través de un documento XML manipulado, un problema relacionado con la CVE-2015-5161. • http://git.php.net/?p=php-src.git%3Ba=commit%3Bh=de31324c221c1791b26350ba106cc26bad23ace9 http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2016-05/msg00031.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2016-05/msg00033.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2016-05/msg00056.html http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2016-2750.html http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2016/04/24/1 http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-5.php http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/ • CWE-611: Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference •
