CVE-2019-15666 – kernel: out-of-bounds array access in __xfrm_policy_unlink
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-15666
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.19. There is an out-of-bounds array access in __xfrm_policy_unlink, which will cause denial of service, because verify_newpolicy_info in net/xfrm/xfrm_user.c mishandles directory validation. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00064.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00066.html https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.0.19 https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=b805d78d300bcf2c83d6df7da0c818b0fee41427 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/09/msg00014.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/09/msg00015.html https://security.netapp.com/ • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •
CVE-2019-15538 – kernel: denial of service in in xfs_setattr_nonsize in fs/xfs/xfs_iops.c
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-15538
An issue was discovered in xfs_setattr_nonsize in fs/xfs/xfs_iops.c in the Linux kernel through 5.2.9. XFS partially wedges when a chgrp fails on account of being out of disk quota. xfs_setattr_nonsize is failing to unlock the ILOCK after the xfs_qm_vop_chown_reserve call fails. This is primarily a local DoS attack vector, but it might result as well in remote DoS if the XFS filesystem is exported for instance via NFS. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00064.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00066.html https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=1fb254aa983bf190cfd685d40c64a480a9bafaee https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/1fb254aa983bf190cfd685d40c64a480a9bafaee https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/09/msg00014.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/09/msg00015.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives& • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •
CVE-2019-15531
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-15531
GNU Libextractor through 1.9 has a heap-based buffer over-read in the function EXTRACTOR_dvi_extract_method in plugins/dvi_extractor.c. GNU Libextractor hasta la versión 1.9 tiene una sobre-lectura de búfer basada en el montón en la función EXTRACTOR_dvi_extract_method en plugins / dvi_extractor.c. • https://bugs.gnunet.org/view.php?id=5846 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/08/msg00038.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2021/12/msg00016.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/DV5YBIS2UUNUUKQOEKDWUKEEWJIKWFMZ https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/GRQUHTSNOCKGRKPRXPUJ6FGTVZ2K5POL https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/MUJWNWDGGXQL • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
CVE-2019-15505 – kernel: out of bounds read in drivers/media/usb/dvb-usb/technisat-usb2.c
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-15505
drivers/media/usb/dvb-usb/technisat-usb2.c in the Linux kernel through 5.2.9 has an out-of-bounds read via crafted USB device traffic (which may be remote via usbip or usbredir). drivers/media/usb/dvb-usb/technisat-usb2.c en el kernel de Linux hasta la versión 5.2.9 tiene una lectura fuera de los límites a través del tráfico de dispositivos USB diseñado (que puede ser remoto a través de usbip o usbredir). An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in the DVB USB subsystem of the Linux kernel. There was no boundary check applied to the array in struct technisat_usb2_state state->buf until the 0xff byte is encountered. If the byte is not encountered within the limit, an exposure of kernel data structure occurs. Data confidentiality and system availability are the highest threats with this vulnerability. • http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/155212/Slackware-Security-Advisory-Slackware-14.2-kernel-Updates.html https://git.linuxtv.org/media_tree.git/commit/?id=0c4df39e504bf925ab666132ac3c98d6cbbe380b https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/01/msg00013.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/03/msg00001.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/O3RUDQJXRJQVGHCGR4YZWTQ3ECBI7TXH https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedorapro • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
CVE-2019-15296
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-15296
An issue was discovered in Freeware Advanced Audio Decoder 2 (FAAD2) 2.8.8. The faad_resetbits function in libfaad/bits.c is affected by a buffer overflow vulnerability. The number of bits to be read is determined by ld->buffer_size - words*4, cast to uint32. If ld->buffer_size - words*4 is negative, a buffer overflow is later performed via getdword_n(&ld->start[words], ld->bytes_left). Permisos inapropiados en el instalador para Intel® Remote Displays SDK versiones anteriores a 2.0.1 R2, pueden permitir a un usuario autenticado activar potencialmente la escalada de privilegios por medio del acceso local. • https://github.com/knik0/faad2/commit/942c3e0aee748ea6fe97cb2c1aa5893225316174 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/08/msg00033.html https://seclists.org/bugtraq/2019/Sep/28 https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/202006-17 https://www.debian.org/security/2019/dsa-4522 • CWE-119: Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer •
