CVE-2024-45537 – Apache Druid: Users can provide MySQL JDBC properties not on allow list
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-45537
Apache Druid allows users with certain permissions to read data from other database systems using JDBC. This functionality allows trusted users to set up Druid lookups or run ingestion tasks. Druid also allows administrators to configure a list of allowed properties that users are able to provide for their JDBC connections. By default, this allowed properties list restricts users to TLS-related properties only. However, when configuration a MySQL JDBC connection, users can use a particularly-crafted JDBC connection string to provide properties that are not on this allow list. Users without the permission to configure JDBC connections are not able to exploit this vulnerability. CVE-2021-26919 describes a similar vulnerability which was partially addressed in Apache Druid 0.20.2. This issue is fixed in Apache Druid 30.0.1. • https://lists.apache.org/thread/2ovx1t77y6tlkhk5b42clp4vwo4c8cjv • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
CVE-2024-45384 – Apache Druid: Padding oracle in druid-pac4j extension that allows an attacker to manipulate a pac4j session cookie via Padding Oracle Attack
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-45384
Padding Oracle vulnerability in Apache Druid extension, druid-pac4j. This could allow an attacker to manipulate a pac4j session cookie. This issue affects Apache Druid versions 0.18.0 through 30.0.0. Since the druid-pac4j extension is optional and disabled by default, Druid installations not using the druid-pac4j extension are not affected by this vulnerability. While we are not aware of a way to meaningfully exploit this flaw, we nevertheless recommend upgrading to version 30.0.1 or higher which fixes the issue and ensuring you have a strong druid.auth.pac4j.cookiePassphrase as a precaution. • https://lists.apache.org/thread/gr94fnp574plb50lsp8jw4smvgv1lbz1 •
CVE-2024-22399 – Apache Seata: Remote Code Execution vulnerability via Hessian Deserialization in Apache Seata Server
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-22399
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Seata. When developers disable authentication on the Seata-Server and do not use the Seata client SDK dependencies, they may construct uncontrolled serialized malicious requests by directly sending bytecode based on the Seata private protocol. This issue affects Apache Seata: 2.0.0, from 1.0.0 through 1.8.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.1.0/1.8.1, which fixes the issue. • https://lists.apache.org/thread/91nzzlxyj4nmks85gbzwkkjtbmnmlkc4 • CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data •
CVE-2024-8642 – Eclipse EDC: Consumer pull transfer token validation checks not applied
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-8642
In Eclipse Dataspace Components, from version 0.5.0 and before version 0.9.0, the ConsumerPullTransferTokenValidationApiController does not check for token validity (expiry, not-before, issuance date), which can allow an attacker to bypass the check for token expiration. The issue requires to have a dataplane configured to support http proxy consumer pull AND include the module "transfer-data-plane". The affected code was marked deprecated from the version 0.6.0 in favour of Dataplane Signaling. In 0.9.0 the vulnerable code has been removed. • https://github.com/eclipse-edc/Connector/commit/04899e91dcdb4a407db4eb7af3e7b6ff9a9e9ad6 https://github.com/eclipse-edc/Connector/releases/tag/v0.9.0 https://gitlab.eclipse.org/security/cve-assignement/-/issues/28 https://gitlab.eclipse.org/security/vulnerability-reports/-/issues/234 • CWE-303: Incorrect Implementation of Authentication Algorithm CWE-305: Authentication Bypass by Primary Weakness •
CVE-2024-8646 – Eclipse Glassfish: URL redirection vulnerability to untrusted sites
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-8646
In Eclipse Glassfish versions prior to 7.0.10, a URL redirection vulnerability to untrusted sites existed. This vulnerability is caused by the vulnerability (CVE-2023-41080) in the Apache code included in GlassFish. This vulnerability only affects applications that are explicitly deployed to the root context ('/'). • https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/glassfish/pull/24655 https://gitlab.eclipse.org/security/cve-assignement/-/issues/34 https://gitlab.eclipse.org/security/vulnerability-reports/-/issues/163 https://glassfish.org/download • CWE-601: URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') •
