In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunrpc: clear XPRT_SOCK_UPD_TIMEOUT when reset transport Since transport->sock has been set to NULL during reset transport, XPRT_SOCK_UPD_TIMEOUT also needs to be cleared. Otherwise, the xs_tcp_set_socket_timeouts() may be triggered in xs_tcp_send_request() to dereference the transport->sock that has been set to NULL. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7196dbb02ea05835b9ee56910ee82cb55422c7f1 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cc91d59d34ff6a6fee1c0b48612081a451e05e9a https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/86a1f9fa24804cd7f9d7dd3f24af84fc7f8ec02e https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/fe6cbf0b2ac3cf4e21824a44eaa336564ed5e960 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/87a95ee34a48dfad198a2002e4966e1d63d53f2b https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3811172e8c98ceebd12fe526ca6cb37a1263c964 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/638a8fa5a7e641f9401346c57e236f02379a0c40 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/66d11ca91bf5100ae2e6b5efad97e58d8 •

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: bcm - add error check in the ahash_hmac_init function The ahash_init functions may return fails. The ahash_hmac_init should not return ok when ahash_init returns error. For an example, ahash_init will return -ENOMEM when allocation memory is error. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9d12ba86f818aa9cfe9f01b750336aa441f2ffa2 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8f1a9a960b1107bd0e0ec3736055f5ed0e717edf https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/75e1e38e5d80d6d9011b7322698ffba3dd3db30a https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/28f8ffa945f7d7150463e15097ea73b19529d6f5 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4ea3e3b761e371102bb1486778e2f8dbc9e37413 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/05f0a3f5477ecaa1cf46448504afe9e7c2e96fcc https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ae5253313e0ea5f00c06176074592b7f493c8546 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ee36db8e8203420e6d5c42eb9428920c2 •

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: graniterapids: Fix vGPIO driver crash Move setting irq_chip.name from probe() function to the initialization of "irq_chip" struct in order to fix vGPIO driver crash during bootup. Crash was caused by unauthorized modification of irq_chip.name field where irq_chip struct was initialized as const. This behavior is a consequence of suboptimal implementation of gpio_irq_chip_set_chip(), which should be changed to avoid casting away const qualifier. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: u_serial: Fix the issue that gs_start_io crashed due to accessing null pointer Considering that in some extreme cases, when u_serial driver is accessed by multiple threads, Thread A is executing the open operation and calling the gs_open, Thread B is executing the disconnect operation and calling the gserial_disconnect function,The port->port_usb pointer will be set to NULL. E.g. Thread A Thread B gs_open() gadget_unbind_driver() gs_start_io() composite_disconnect() gs_start_rx() gserial_disconnect() ... ... spin_unlock(&port->port_lock) status = usb_ep_queue() spin_lock(&port->port_lock) spin_lock(&port->port_lock) port->port_usb = NULL gs_free_requests(port->port_usb->in) spin_unlock(&port->port_lock) Crash This causes thread A to access a null pointer (port->port_usb is null) when calling the gs_free_requests function, causing a crash. If port_usb is NULL, the release request will be skipped as it will be done by gserial_disconnect. So add a null pointer check to gs_start_io before attempting to access the value of the pointer port->port_usb.
