The c_rehash script does not properly sanitise shell metacharacters to prevent command injection. This script is distributed by some operating systems in a manner where it is automatically executed. On such operating systems, an attacker could execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the script. Use of the c_rehash script is considered obsolete and should be replaced by the OpenSSL rehash command line tool. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.3 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2). • https://github.com/alcaparra/CVE-2022-1292 https://github.com/li8u99/CVE-2022-1292 https://github.com/greek0x0/CVE-2022-1292 https://github.com/rama291041610/CVE-2022-1292 https://github.com/und3sc0n0c1d0/CVE-2022-1292 https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-953464.pdf https://git.openssl.org/gitweb/?p=openssl.git%3Ba=commitdiff%3Bh=1ad73b4d27bd8c1b369a3cd453681d3a4f1bb9b2 https://git.openssl.org/gitweb/?p=openssl.git%3Ba=commitdiff%3Bh=548d3f280a6e737673f5b61fce24bb100108dfeb https://git • CWE-77: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') •

Memory leak in icmp6 implementation in Linux Kernel 5.13+ allows a remote attacker to DoS a host by making it go out-of-memory via icmp6 packets of type 130 or 131. We recommend upgrading past commit 2d3916f3189172d5c69d33065c3c21119fe539fc. Una pérdida de memoria en la implementación de icmp6 en el Kernel de Linux versión 5.13+, permite a un atacante remoto hacer DoS a un host haciendo que salga de la memoria por medio de paquetes icmp6 de tipo 130 o 131. Recomendamos actualizar el commit 2d3916f3189172d5c69d33065c3c21119fe539fc • https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=2d3916f3189172d5c69d33065c3c21119fe539fc https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20220425-0001 https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2022/03/15/3 • CWE-275: Permission Issues CWE-401: Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime •

A heap out-of-bounds write affecting Linux since v2.6.19-rc1 was discovered in net/netfilter/x_tables.c. A flaw was discovered in processing setsockopt IPT_SO_SET_REPLACE (or IP6T_SO_SET_REPLACE) for 32 bit processes on 64 bit systems. This flaw will allow local user to gain privileges or cause a DoS through user name space. This action is usually restricted to root-privileged users but can also be leveraged if the kernel is compiled with CONFIG_USER_NS and CONFIG_NET_NS and the user is granted elevated privileges. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50135 https://github.com/xyjl-ly/CVE-2021-22555-Exploit https://github.com/veritas501/CVE-2021-22555-PipeVersion https://github.com/pashayogi/CVE-2021-22555 https://github.com/tukru/CVE-2021-22555 https://github.com/letsr00t/CVE-2021-22555 https://github.com/letsr00t/-2021-LOCALROOT-CVE-2021-22555 https://github.com/daletoniris/CVE-2021-22555-esc-priv http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/163528/Linux-Kernel-Netfilter-Heap-Out-Of-Bounds-Write.h • CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •

An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.19. The XFRM subsystem has a use-after-free, related to an xfrm_state_fini panic, aka CID-dbb2483b2a46.

Use-after-free vulnerability in fs/block_dev.c in the Linux kernel before 5.8 allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service by leveraging improper access to a certain error field. La vulnerabilidad de tipo use-after-free en el archivo fs/block_dev.c en el kernel de Linux versiones anteriores a 5.8, permite a usuarios locales obtener privilegios o causar una denegación de servicio al aprovechar el acceso inapropiado a un determinado campo de error A use-after-free flaw was observed in blkdev_get(), in fs/block_dev.c after a call to __blkdev_get() fails, and its refcount gets freed/released. This problem may cause a denial of service problem with a special user privilege, and may even lead to a confidentiality issue. • https://lkml.org/lkml/2020/6/7/379 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20201218-0002 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2020-15436 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1901168 • CWE-416: Use After Free •
