CVE-2019-3838 – ghostscript: forceput in DefineResource is still accessible (700576)
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-3838
It was found that the forceput operator could be extracted from the DefineResource method in ghostscript before 9.27. A specially crafted PostScript file could use this flaw in order to, for example, have access to the file system outside of the constrains imposed by -dSAFER. It was found that the forceput operator could be extracted from the DefineResource method. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-04/msg00011.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-04/msg00018.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/152367/Slackware-Security-Advisory-ghostscript-Updates.html https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0652 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0971 https://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=700576 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2019-3838 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2 • CWE-648: Incorrect Use of Privileged APIs •
CVE-2018-8088 – slf4j: Deserialisation vulnerability in EventData constructor can allow for arbitrary code execution
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-8088
org.slf4j.ext.EventData in the slf4j-ext module in QOS.CH SLF4J before 1.8.0-beta2 allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via crafted data. EventData in the slf4j-ext module in QOS.CH SLF4J, has been fixed in SLF4J versions 1.7.26 later and in the 2.0.x series. org.slf4j.ext. An XML deserialization vulnerability was discovered in slf4j's EventData, which accepts an XML serialized string and can lead to arbitrary code execution. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/103737 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1040627 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0582 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0592 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0627 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0628 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0629 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0630 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1247 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1248 https: • CWE-502: Deserialization of Untrusted Data •
CVE-2017-7793 – Mozilla: Use-after-free with Fetch API (MFSA 2017-22)
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2017-7793
A use-after-free vulnerability can occur in the Fetch API when the worker or the associated window are freed when still in use, resulting in a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 56, Firefox ESR < 52.4, and Thunderbird < 52.4. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/101055 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1039465 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:2831 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:2885 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1371889 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2017/11/msg00000.html https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201803-14 https://www.debian.org/security/2017/dsa-3987 https://www.debian.org/security/2017/dsa-4014 https://www.mozilla.org/security/advisor • CWE-416: Use After Free •
CVE-2017-1000111 – kernel: Heap out-of-bounds read in AF_PACKET sockets
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2017-1000111
Linux kernel: heap out-of-bounds in AF_PACKET sockets. This new issue is analogous to previously disclosed CVE-2016-8655. In both cases, a socket option that changes socket state may race with safety checks in packet_set_ring. Previously with PACKET_VERSION. This time with PACKET_RESERVE. • http://www.debian.org/security/2017/dsa-3981 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/100267 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1039132 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:2918 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:2930 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:2931 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:3200 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/cve-2017-1000111 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2017-1000111 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi • CWE-362: Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •
CVE-2017-7792 – Mozilla: Buffer overflow viewing certificates with long OID (MFSA 2017-19)
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2017-7792
A buffer overflow will occur when viewing a certificate in the certificate manager if the certificate has an extremely long object identifier (OID). This results in a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.3, Firefox ESR < 52.3, and Firefox < 55. Ocurrirá un desbordamiento de búfer al ver un certificado en el gestor de certificados si el certificado tiene un OID (Object Identifier) o identificador de objeto demasiado largo.
