CVE-2018-2800 – OpenJDK: RMI HTTP transport enabled by default (RMI, 8193833)
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-2800
Vulnerability in the Java SE, JRockit component of Oracle Java SE (subcomponent: RMI). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 6u181, 7u171 and 8u162; JRockit: R28.3.17. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Java SE, JRockit. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Java SE, JRockit accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Java SE, JRockit accessible data. • http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/security-advisory/cpuapr2018-3678067.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/103849 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1040697 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1188 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1191 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1201 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1202 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1203 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1204 https://access.redhat.com/errata/ •

CVE-2018-5382 – Bouncy Castle BKS-V1 keystore files vulnerable to trivial hash collisions
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-5382
The default BKS keystore use an HMAC that is only 16 bits long, which can allow an attacker to compromise the integrity of a BKS keystore. Bouncy Castle release 1.47 changes the BKS format to a format which uses a 160 bit HMAC instead. This applies to any BKS keystore generated prior to BC 1.47. For situations where people need to create the files for legacy reasons a specific keystore type "BKS-V1" was introduced in 1.49. It should be noted that the use of "BKS-V1" is discouraged by the library authors and should only be used where it is otherwise safe to do so, as in where the use of a 16 bit checksum for the file integrity check is not going to cause a security issue in itself. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/103453 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2927 https://www.bouncycastle.org/releasenotes.html https://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/306792 https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuoct2020.html https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2018-5382 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1563749 • CWE-327: Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm CWE-354: Improper Validation of Integrity Check Value •
