Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 113, Firefox ESR 102.11, and Thunderbird 102.12. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 102.12, Firefox < 114, and Thunderbird < 102.12. The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Mozilla developers and community members Gabriele Svelto, Andrew McCreight, the Mozilla Fuzzing Team, Sean Feng, and Sebastian Hengst reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 113 and Firefox ESR 102.11.
