An improper check for unusual or exceptional conditions in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved Routing Protocol Daemon (RPD) service allows an attacker to send a valid BGP FlowSpec message thereby causing an unexpected change in the route advertisements within the BGP FlowSpec domain leading to disruptions in network traffic causing a Denial of Service (DoS) condition. Continued receipt of these update messages will cause a sustained Denial of Service condition. This issue affects Juniper Networks: Junos OS: All versions prior to 17.3R3-S10 with the exceptions of 15.1X49-D240 on SRX Series and 15.1R7-S8 on EX Series; 17.3 versions prior to 17.3R3-S10; 17.4 versions prior to 17.4R2-S12, 17.4R3-S4; 18.1 versions prior to 18.1R3-S12; 18.2 versions prior to 18.2R2-S8, 18.2R3-S6; 18.3 versions prior to 18.3R3-S4; 18.4 versions prior to 18.4R1-S8, 18.4R2-S6, 18.4R3-S6; 19.1 versions prior to 19.1R1-S6, 19.1R2-S2, 19.1R3-S3; 19.2 versions prior to 19.2R3-S1; 19.3 versions prior to 19.3R2-S5, 19.3R3-S1; 19.4 versions prior to 19.4R1-S3, 19.4R2-S3, 19.4R3; 20.1 versions prior to 20.1R2; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R1-S3 20.2R2; 20.3 versions prior to 20.3R1-S1, 20.3R2. Junos OS Evolved: All versions prior to 20.3R1-S1-EVO, 20.3R2-EVO. On EX4300 Series switches with TCAM optimization enabled, incoming multicast traffic matches an implicit loopback filter rule first, since it has high priority. This rule is meant for reserved multicast addresses 224.0.0.x, but incorrectly matches on 224.x.x.x. Due to this bug, when a firewall filter is applied on the loopback interface, other firewall filters might stop working for multicast traffic. The command 'show firewall filter' can be used to confirm whether the filter is working. This issue only affects the EX4300 switch. • https://kb.juniper.net/JSA10942 • CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor •

An issue was discovered in Embedthis GoAhead before 4.0.1 and Appweb before 7.0.2. The server mishandles some HTTP request fields associated with time, which results in a NULL pointer dereference, as demonstrated by If-Modified-Since or If-Unmodified-Since with a month greater than 11. • https://github.com/embedthis/appweb/commit/66067ae6d1fa08b37a270e7dc1821df52ed2daef https://github.com/embedthis/appweb/issues/605 https://github.com/embedthis/goahead/issues/264 https://supportportal.juniper.net/s/article/2019-07-Security-Bulletin-Junos-OS-J-Web-Denial-of-Service-due-to-multiple-vulnerabilities-in-Embedthis-Appweb-Server https://supportportal.juniper.net/s/article/2021-07-Security-Bulletin-Junos-OS-Multiple-J-Web-vulnerabilities-resolved • CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference •

Embedthis Appweb before 4.6.6 and 5.x before 5.2.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) via a Range header with an empty value, as demonstrated by "Range: x=,". Appweb Web Server suffers from a denial of service vulnerability. • http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/131157/Appweb-Web-Server-Denial-Of-Service.html http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2015/Apr/19 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2015/Mar/158 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2015/03/28/2 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2015/04/06/2 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/security-advisory/cpujul2016-2881720.html http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1/535028/100/0/threaded http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1/archive/1/5 • CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference •
