CVE-2021-3449 – NULL pointer deref in signature_algorithms processing
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-3449
An OpenSSL TLS server may crash if sent a maliciously crafted renegotiation ClientHello message from a client. If a TLSv1.2 renegotiation ClientHello omits the signature_algorithms extension (where it was present in the initial ClientHello), but includes a signature_algorithms_cert extension then a NULL pointer dereference will result, leading to a crash and a denial of service attack. A server is only vulnerable if it has TLSv1.2 and renegotiation enabled (which is the default configuration). OpenSSL TLS clients are not impacted by this issue. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 versions are affected by this issue. • http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/03/27/1 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/03/27/2 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/03/28/3 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/03/28/4 https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-389290.pdf https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-772220.pdf https://git.openssl.org/gitweb/?p=openssl.git%3Ba=commitdiff%3Bh=fb9fa6b51defd48157eeb207f52181f735d96148 https://kb.pulse • CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference •

• https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=548244 https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/commit/8f70f2bd024f00ecd5b3dcca45df73edda29dcee https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/commit/a3fa9573789ed5e867c43ea38374f4dbd5a8f81f https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/compare/2.3.9-RELEASE...2.3.10-RELEASE https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/files/3039198/advisory.txt https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/issues/4556 https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/pull/4567 https://github.com/javaserv • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2019-10092 – Apache Httpd mod_proxy - Error Page Cross-Site Scripting
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-10092
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.0-2.4.39, a limited cross-site scripting issue was reported affecting the mod_proxy error page. An attacker could cause the link on the error page to be malformed and instead point to a page of their choice. This would only be exploitable where a server was set up with proxying enabled but was misconfigured in such a way that the Proxy Error page was displayed. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/47688 https://github.com/mbadanoiu/CVE-2019-10092 http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00004.html http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2019/08/15/4 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2020/08/08/1 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2020/08/08/9 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:4126 https://github.com/DrunkenShells/Disclosures/tree/master/CVE-2019-10092-Limited%20Cross-Site%20 • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2019-0227 – Apache Axis 1.4 - Remote Code Execution
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-0227
A Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affected the Apache Axis 1.4 distribution that was last released in 2006. Security and bug commits commits continue in the projects Axis 1.x Subversion repository, legacy users are encouraged to build from source. The successor to Axis 1.x is Axis2, the latest version is 1.7.9 and is not vulnerable to this issue. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/46682 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r3a5baf5d76f1f2181be7f54da3deab70d7a38b5660b387583d05a8cd%40%3Cjava-user.axis.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r6d03e45b81eab03580cf7f8bb51cb3e9a1b10a2cc0c6a2d3cc92ed0c%40%3Cannounce.apache.org%3E https://rhinosecuritylabs.com/application-security/cve-2019-0227-expired-domain-rce-apache-axis https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20240621-0006 https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuApr2021.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpua • CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) •
CVE-2019-1559 – 0-byte record padding oracle
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-1559
If an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSL_shutdown() twice (once to send a close_notify, and once to receive one) then OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. If the application then behaves differently based on that in a way that is detectable to the remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. In order for this to be exploitable "non-stitched" ciphersuites must be in use. Stitched ciphersuites are optimised implementations of certain commonly used ciphersuites. Also the application must call SSL_shutdown() twice even if a protocol error has occurred (applications should not do this but some do anyway). • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-03/msg00041.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-04/msg00019.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-04/msg00046.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-04/msg00047.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00049.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00080.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/107174 https://access. • CWE-203: Observable Discrepancy CWE-325: Missing Cryptographic Step •
