In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: taprio: always validate TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_PRIOMAP If one TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_PRIOMAP attribute has been provided, taprio_parse_mqprio_opt() must validate it, or userspace can inject arbitrary data to the kernel, the second time taprio_change() is called. First call (with valid attributes) sets dev->num_tc to a non zero value. Second call (with arbitrary mqprio attributes) returns early from taprio_parse_mqprio_opt() and bad things can happen. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a3d43c0d56f1b94e74963a2fbadfb70126d92213 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c6041e7124464ce7e896ee3f912897ce88a0c4ec https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6db4af09987cc5d5f0136bd46148b0e0460dae5b https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d3dde4c217f0c31ab0621912e682b57e677dd923 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0bf6cc96612bd396048f57d63f1ad454a846e39c https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/724050ae4b76e4fae05a923cb54101d792cf4404 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c37a27a35eadb59286c9092c49c241270c802ae2 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f921a58ae20852d188f70842431ce6519 • CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: microchip: pci1xxxx: fix double free in the error handling of gp_aux_bus_probe() When auxiliary_device_add() returns error and then calls auxiliary_device_uninit(), callback function gp_auxiliary_device_release() calls ida_free() and kfree(aux_device_wrapper) to free memory. We should't call them again in the error handling path. Fix this by skipping the redundant cleanup functions. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/393fc2f5948fd340d016a9557eea6e1ac2f6c60c https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/34ae447b138680b5ed3660f7d935ff3faf88ba1a https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/86c9713602f786f441630c4ee02891987f8618b9 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1efe551982297924d05a367aa2b6ec3d275d5742 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/086c6cbcc563c81d55257f9b27e14faf1d0963d3 •

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: af_unix: Update unix_sk(sk)->oob_skb under sk_receive_queue lock. Billy Jheng Bing-Jhong reported a race between __unix_gc() and queue_oob(). __unix_gc() tries to garbage-collect close()d inflight sockets, and then if the socket has MSG_OOB in unix_sk(sk)->oob_skb, GC will drop the reference and set NULL to it locklessly. However, the peer socket still can send MSG_OOB message and queue_oob() can update unix_sk(sk)->oob_skb concurrently, leading NULL pointer dereference. [0] To fix the issue, let's update unix_sk(sk)->oob_skb under the sk_receive_queue's lock and take it everywhere we touch oob_skb. Note that we defer kfree_skb() in manage_oob() to silence lockdep false-positive (See [1]). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: fix __dst_negative_advice() race __dst_negative_advice() does not enforce proper RCU rules when sk->dst_cache must be cleared, leading to possible UAF. RCU rules are that we must first clear sk->sk_dst_cache, then call dst_release(old_dst). Note that sk_dst_reset(sk) is implementing this protocol correctly, while __dst_negative_advice() uses the wrong order. Given that ip6_negative_advice() has special logic against RTF_CACHE, this means each of the three ->negative_advice() existing methods must perform the sk_dst_reset() themselves. Note the check against NULL dst is centralized in __dst_negative_advice(), there is no need to duplicate it in various callbacks. Many thanks to Clement Lecigne for tracking this issue. This old bug became visible after the blamed commit, using UDP sockets. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a87cb3e48ee86d29868d3f59cfb9ce1a8fa63314 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/051c0bde9f0450a2ec3d62a86d2a0d2fad117f13 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/db0082825037794c5dba9959c9de13ca34cc5e72 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2295a7ef5c8c49241bff769e7826ef2582e532a6 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/eacb8b195579c174a6d3e12a9690b206eb7f28cf https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/81dd3c82a456b0015461754be7cb2693991421b4 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5af198c387128a9d2ddd620b0f0803564a4d4508 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b8af8e6118a6605f0e495a58d591ca94a • CWE-416: Use After Free •

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix division by zero in setup_dsc_config When slice_height is 0, the division by slice_height in the calculation of the number of slices will cause a division by zero driver crash. This leaves the kernel in a state that requires a reboot. This patch adds a check to avoid the division by zero. The stack trace below is for the 6.8.4 Kernel. I reproduced the issue on a Z16 Gen 2 Lenovo Thinkpad with a Apple Studio Display monitor connected via Thunderbolt. The amdgpu driver crashed with this exception when I rebooted the system with the monitor connected. kernel: ? • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a32c8f951c8a456c1c251e1dcdf21787f8066445 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/91402e0e5de9124a3108db7a14163fcf9a6d322f https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7e4f50dfc98c49b3dc6875a35c3112522fb25639 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f187fcbbb8f8bf10c6687f0beae22509369f7563 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/308de6be0c9c7ba36915c0d398e771725c0ea911 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/130afc8a886183a94cf6eab7d24f300014ff87ba • CWE-369: Divide By Zero •
