CVE-2024-46861 – usbnet: ipheth: do not stop RX on failing RX callback
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-46861
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usbnet: ipheth: do not stop RX on failing RX callback RX callbacks can fail for multiple reasons: * Payload too short * Payload formatted incorrecly (e.g. bad NCM framing) * Lack of memory None of these should cause the driver to seize up. Make such failures non-critical and continue processing further incoming URBs. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4d1cfa3afb8627435744ecdc6d8b58bc72ee0f4c https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/08ca800b0cd56d5e26722f68b18bbbf6840bf44b https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/74efed51e0a4d62f998f806c307778b47fc73395 •
CVE-2024-46860 – wifi: mt76: mt7921: fix NULL pointer access in mt7921_ipv6_addr_change
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-46860
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7921: fix NULL pointer access in mt7921_ipv6_addr_change When disabling wifi mt7921_ipv6_addr_change() is called as a notifier. At this point mvif->phy is already NULL so we cannot use it here. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4bfee9346d8c17d928ef6da2b8bffab88fa2a553 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8d92bafd4c67efb692f722d73a07412b5f88c6d6 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/479ffee68d59c599f8aed8fa2dcc8e13e7bd13c3 •
CVE-2024-46859 – platform/x86: panasonic-laptop: Fix SINF array out of bounds accesses
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-46859
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: panasonic-laptop: Fix SINF array out of bounds accesses The panasonic laptop code in various places uses the SINF array with index values of 0 - SINF_CUR_BRIGHT(0x0d) without checking that the SINF array is big enough. Not all panasonic laptops have this many SINF array entries, for example the Toughbook CF-18 model only has 10 SINF array entries. So it only supports the AC+DC brightness entries and mute. Check that the SINF array has a minimum size which covers all AC+DC brightness entries and refuse to load if the SINF array is smaller. For higher SINF indexes hide the sysfs attributes when the SINF array does not contain an entry for that attribute, avoiding show()/store() accessing the array out of bounds and add bounds checking to the probe() and resume() code accessing these. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e424fb8cc4e6634c10f8159b1ff5618cf7bab9c6 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b7c2f692307fe704be87ea80d7328782b33c3cef https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9291fadbd2720a869b1d2fcf82305648e2e62a16 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6821a82616f60aa72c5909b3e252ad97fb9f7e2a https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b38c19783286a71693c2194ed1b36665168c09c4 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f52e98d16e9bd7dd2b3aef8e38db5cbc9899d6a4 •
CVE-2024-46844 – um: line: always fill *error_out in setup_one_line()
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-46844
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: um: line: always fill *error_out in setup_one_line() The pointer isn't initialized by callers, but I have encountered cases where it's still printed; initialize it in all possible cases in setup_one_line(). • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3bedb7ce080690d0d6172db790790c1219bcbdd5 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/96301fdc2d533a196197c055af875fe33d47ef84 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c8944d449fda9f58c03bd99649b2df09948fc874 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/43f782c27907f306c664b6614fd6f264ac32cce6 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/289979d64573f43df1d0e6bc6435de63a0d69cdf https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ec5b47a370177d79ae7773858042c107e21f8ecc https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/fc843d3837ebcb1c16d3768ef3eb55e25d5331f2 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/824ac4a5edd3f7494ab1996826c4f47f8 •
CVE-2024-46843 – scsi: ufs: core: Remove SCSI host only if added
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2024-46843
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ufs: core: Remove SCSI host only if added If host tries to remove ufshcd driver from a UFS device it would cause a kernel panic if ufshcd_async_scan fails during ufshcd_probe_hba before adding a SCSI host with scsi_add_host and MCQ is enabled since SCSI host has been defered after MCQ configuration introduced by commit 0cab4023ec7b ("scsi: ufs: core: Defer adding host to SCSI if MCQ is supported"). To guarantee that SCSI host is removed only if it has been added, set the scsi_host_added flag to true after adding a SCSI host and check whether it is set or not before removing it. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2f49e05d6b58d660f035a75ff96b77071b4bd5ed https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3844586e9bd9845140e1078f1e61896b576ac536 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7cbff570dbe8907e23bba06f6414899a0fbb2fcc •
