In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: pcie: handle randbuf allocation failure The kzalloc() in brcmf_pcie_download_fw_nvram() will return null if the physical memory has run out. As a result, if we use get_random_bytes() to generate random bytes in the randbuf, the null pointer dereference bug will happen. In order to prevent allocation failure, this patch adds a separate function using buffer on kernel stack to generate random bytes in the randbuf, which could prevent the kernel stack from overflow. • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c35105f375b530bc27e03ea9250b1c26dd4cae86 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/91918ce88d9fef408bb12c46a27c73d79b604c20 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ba72baed066f3bfa8b489e4b58f1fcaf51c04f83 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0eb2c0528e232b3c32cde9d5e1c9f80ba2996e49 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c37466406f075476c2702ecc01917928af871f3b https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7c15eb344b0d4d3468c9b2a7591ad2b859b29b88 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3729ca9e48d19a03ae049e2bde510e161c2f3720 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/316f790ebcf94bdf59f794b7cdea4068d • CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference •

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libbpf: Prevent null-pointer dereference when prog to load has no BTF In bpf_objec_load_prog(), there's no guarantee that obj->btf is non-NULL when passing it to btf__fd(), and this function does not perform any check before dereferencing its argument (as bpf_object__btf_fd() used to do). As a consequence, we get segmentation fault errors in bpftool (for example) when trying to load programs that come without BTF information. v2: Keep btf__fd() in the fix instead of reverting to bpf_object__btf_fd(). • https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/df7c3f7d3a3ddab31ca8cfa9b86a8729ec43fd2e https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ef80b59acfa4dee4b5eaccb15572b69248831104 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1fd91360a75833b7110af9834ae26c977e1273e0 https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9bf48fa19a4b1d186e08b20bf7e5de26a15644fb •
