CVE-2021-1448 – Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Software Command Injection Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-1448
A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on the underlying operating system of an affected device that is running in multi-instance mode. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted input to the affected command. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying operating system with root privileges. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-ftd-cmdinj-vWY5wqZT • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') •
CVE-2021-1368 – Cisco FXOS and NX-OS Software Unidirectional Link Detection Denial of Service and Arbitrary Code Execution Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-1368
A vulnerability in the Unidirectional Link Detection (UDLD) feature of Cisco FXOS Software and Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to execute arbitrary code with administrative privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted Cisco UDLD protocol packets to a directly connected, affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with administrative privileges or cause the Cisco UDLD process to crash and restart multiple times, causing the affected device to reload and resulting in a DoS condition. Note: The UDLD feature is disabled by default, and the conditions to exploit this vulnerability are strict. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-nxos-udld-rce-xetH6w35 • CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •
CVE-2020-3455 – Cisco FXOS Software for Firepower 4100/9300 Series Appliances Secure Boot Bypass Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-3455
A vulnerability in the secure boot process of Cisco FXOS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to bypass the secure boot mechanisms. The vulnerability is due to insufficient protections of the secure boot process. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by injecting code into a specific file that is then referenced during the device boot process. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to break the chain of trust and inject code into the boot process of the device which would be executed at each boot and maintain persistence across reboots. Una vulnerabilidad en el proceso de arranque seguro de Cisco FXOS Software, podría permitir a un atacante local autenticado omitir los mecanismos de arranque seguro. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-fxos-sbbp-XTuPkYTn • CWE-693: Protection Mechanism Failure •
CVE-2020-3456 – Cisco FXOS Software Firepower Chassis Manager Cross-Site Request Forgery Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-3456
A vulnerability in the Cisco Firepower Chassis Manager (FCM) of Cisco FXOS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attack against a user of an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient CSRF protections for the FCM interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a targeted user to click a malicious link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to send arbitrary requests that could take unauthorized actions on behalf of the targeted user. CVE-2020-3457 – Cisco FXOS Software Command Injection Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-3457
A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco FXOS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to inject arbitrary commands that are executed with root privileges. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of commands supplied by the user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to a device and submitting crafted input to the affected command. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying operating system with root privileges.
