The fix for bug 63362 present in Apache Tomcat 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.0-M5, 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.11, 9.0.40 to 9.0.53 and 8.5.60 to 8.5.71 introduced a memory leak. The object introduced to collect metrics for HTTP upgrade connections was not released for WebSocket connections once the connection was closed. This created a memory leak that, over time, could lead to a denial of service via an OutOfMemoryError. La corrección del bug 63362 presente en Apache Tomcat versiones 10.1.0-M1 hasta 10.1.0-M5, versiones 10.0.0-M1 hasta 10.0.11, versiones 9.0.40 hasta 9.0.53 y versiones 8.5.60 hasta 8.5.71, introducía una pérdida de memoria. A null pointer de-reference was found in the way samba kerberos server handled missing sname in TGS-REQ (Ticket Granting Server - Request). An authenticated user could use this flaw to crash the samba server. Se ha encontrado una desreferencia de puntero null en la forma en que el servidor kerberos de Samba manejaba el sname faltante en TGS-REQ (Ticket Granting Server - Request). Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk. An integer overflow bug in the underlying string library can be used to corrupt the heap and potentially result with denial of service or remote code execution. The vulnerability involves changing the default proto-max-bulk-len configuration parameter to a very large value and constructing specially crafted network payloads or commands. The problem is fixed in Redis versions 6.2.6, 6.0.16 and 5.0.14. An additional workaround to mitigate the problem without patching the redis-server executable is to prevent users from modifying the proto-max-bulk-len configuration parameter. • https://github.com/redis/redis/commit/c6ad876774f3cc11e32681ea02a2eead00f2c521 https://github.com/redis/redis/security/advisories/GHSA-j3cr-9h5g-6cph https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/HTYQ5ZF37HNGTZWVNJD3VXP7I6MEEF42 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/VL5KXFN3ATM7IIM7Q4O4PWTSRGZ5744Z https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/WR5WKJWXD4D6S3DJCZ56V74ESLTDQRAB https://security.gentoo.org/gls • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound CWE-680: Integer Overflow to Buffer Overflow CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •

Redis is an open source, in-memory database that persists on disk. The redis-cli command line tool and redis-sentinel service may be vulnerable to integer overflow when parsing specially crafted large multi-bulk network replies. This is a result of a vulnerability in the underlying hiredis library which does not perform an overflow check before calling the calloc() heap allocation function. This issue only impacts systems with heap allocators that do not perform their own overflow checks. Most modern systems do and are therefore not likely to be affected. • https://github.com/redis/redis/commit/0215324a66af949be39b34be2d55143232c1cb71 https://github.com/redis/redis/security/advisories/GHSA-833w-8v3m-8wwr https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/HTYQ5ZF37HNGTZWVNJD3VXP7I6MEEF42 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/VL5KXFN3ATM7IIM7Q4O4PWTSRGZ5744Z https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/WR5WKJWXD4D6S3DJCZ56V74ESLTDQRAB https://security.gentoo.org/gls • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound CWE-680: Integer Overflow to Buffer Overflow •
