Multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM & Presence Service (Unified CM IM&P) could allow an attacker to conduct path traversal attacks and SQL injection attacks on an affected system. One of the SQL injection vulnerabilities that affects Unified CM IM&P also affects Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME) and could allow an attacker to conduct SQL injection attacks on an affected system. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory. Múltiples vulnerabilidades en Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM & Presence Service (Unified CM IM&:P), podría permitir a un atacante conducir ataques de salto de ruta y ataques de inyección SQL en un sistema afectado. A vulnerability in the audit logging component of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition, Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM & Presence Service, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Emergency Responder, and Cisco Prime License Manager could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to view sensitive information in clear text on an affected system. The vulnerability is due to the storage of certain unencrypted credentials. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the audit logs on an affected system and obtaining credentials that they may not normally have access to. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to use those credentials to discover and manage network devices. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-cucm-logging-6QSWKRYz • CWE-532: Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File •

A vulnerability in Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM & Presence Service (Unified CM IM&P) Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause the Cisco XCP Authentication Service on an affected device to restart, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to improper handling of login requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted client login request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a process to crash, resulting in a DoS condition for new login attempts. Users who are authenticated at the time of the attack would not be affected. • https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-imp-dos-uTx2dqu2 • CWE-248: Uncaught Exception CWE-755: Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions •
