The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. • http://seclists.org/oss-sec/2017/q4/357 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/102101 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0654 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0676 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1062 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1130 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1170 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1319 https://help.ecostruxureit.com/display/public/UADCE725/Security+fixes+in+StruxureWare+Data+Center+Expert+v7.6 • CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor •

A non-privileged user is able to mount a fuse filesystem on RHEL 6 or 7 and crash a system if an application punches a hole in a file that does not end aligned to a page boundary. Un usuario sin privilegios puede montar un sistema de archivos en el espacio de usuario (FUSE) en RHEL 6 o 7 y provocar el cierre inesperado del sistema si una aplicación hace un agujero en un archivo que no termina alineado con un límite de página. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/102128 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0676 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1062 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:1854 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1520893 https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K42142782?utm_source=f5support&amp%3Butm_medium=RSS https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2017-15121 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •

Tor Browser before 7.0.9 on macOS and Linux allows remote attackers to bypass the intended anonymity feature and discover a client IP address via vectors involving a crafted web site that leverages file:// mishandling in Firefox, aka TorMoil. NOTE: Tails is unaffected. • https://github.com/Ethan-Chen-uwo/A-breif-introduction-of-CVE-2017-16541 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/101665 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041610 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2692 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2693 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:3403 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:3458 https://blog.torproject.org/tor-browser-709-released https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1412081 https://lists.debian.or • CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor •

The process_open function in sftp-server.c in OpenSSH before 7.6 does not properly prevent write operations in readonly mode, which allows attackers to create zero-length files. La función process_open en sftp-server.c en OpenSSH, en versiones anteriores a la 7.6, no evita correctamente las operaciones de escritura en el modo readonly, lo que permite que los atacantes creen archivos de longitud cero. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/101552 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0980 https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-412672.pdf https://github.com/openbsd/src/commit/a6981567e8e215acc1ef690c8dbb30f2d9b00a19 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2018/09/msg00010.html https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201801-05 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20180423-0004 https://www.openssh.com/txt/release-7.6 https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpujan2020.html http • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-732: Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource •

When apr_time_exp*() or apr_os_exp_time*() functions are invoked with an invalid month field value in Apache Portable Runtime APR 1.6.2 and prior, out of bounds memory may be accessed in converting this value to an apr_time_exp_t value, potentially revealing the contents of a different static heap value or resulting in program termination, and may represent an information disclosure or denial of service vulnerability to applications which call these APR functions with unvalidated external input. An out-of-bounds array dereference was found in apr_time_exp_get(). An attacker could abuse an unvalidated usage of this function to cause a denial of service or potentially lead to data leak. • http://www.apache.org/dist/apr/Announcement1.x.html http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/08/23/1 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/101560 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1042004 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:3270 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:3475 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:3476 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:3477 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:0316 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
