CVE-2022-0435 – kernel: remote stack overflow via kernel panic on systems using TIPC may lead to DoS
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-0435
A stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TIPC protocol functionality in the way a user sends a packet with malicious content where the number of domain member nodes is higher than the 64 allowed. This flaw allows a remote user to crash the system or possibly escalate their privileges if they have access to the TIPC network. Este fallo permite a un usuario remoto bloquear el sistema o posiblemente escalar sus privilegios si presenta acceso a la red TIPC A stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s TIPC protocol functionality in the way a user sends a packet with malicious content where the number of domain member nodes is higher than the 64 allowed. CVE-2022-0646
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-0646
A flaw use after free in the Linux kernel Management Component Transport Protocol (MCTP) subsystem was found in the way user triggers cancel_work_sync after the unregister_netdev during removing device. A local user could use this flaw to crash the system or escalate their privileges on the system. It is actual from Linux Kernel 5.17-rc1 (when mctp-serial.c introduced) till 5.17-rc5. • https://lore.kernel.org/all/20220211011552.1861886-1-jk%40codeconstruct.com.au https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20220318-0006 • CWE-416: Use After Free CWE-459: Incomplete Cleanup •
CVE-2022-0330 – kernel: possible privileges escalation due to missing TLB flush
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-0330
A random memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel's GPU i915 kernel driver functionality in the way a user may run malicious code on the GPU. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system or escalate their privileges on the system. CVE-2022-0617 – kernel: NULL pointer dereference in udf_expand_file_adinicbdue() during writeback
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2022-0617
A flaw null pointer dereference in the Linux kernel UDF file system functionality was found in the way user triggers udf_file_write_iter function for the malicious UDF image. A local user could use this flaw to crash the system. Actual from Linux kernel 4.2-rc1 till 5.17-rc2. CVE-2021-3743 – kernel: out-of-bound Read in qrtr_endpoint_post in net/qrtr/qrtr.c
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-3743
An out-of-bounds (OOB) memory read flaw was found in the Qualcomm IPC router protocol in the Linux kernel. A missing sanity check allows a local attacker to gain access to out-of-bounds memory, leading to a system crash or a leak of internal kernel information. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1997961 https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/netdev/net.git/commit/?id=7e78c597c3eb https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=7e78c597c3ebfd0cb329aa09a838734147e4f117 https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/7e78c597c3ebfd0cb329aa09a838734147e4f117 https://lists.openwall.net/netdev/2021/08/17/124 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20220407-0007 https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/08/27 • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
