CVE-2019-13118
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-13118
In numbers.c in libxslt 1.1.33, a type holding grouping characters of an xsl:number instruction was too narrow and an invalid character/length combination could be passed to xsltNumberFormatDecimal, leading to a read of uninitialized stack data. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-05/msg00062.html http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/11 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/13 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/14 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Aug/15 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Jul/22 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Jul/23 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Jul/24 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2019/Jul/26 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosur • CWE-843: Access of Resource Using Incompatible Type ('Type Confusion') •
CVE-2019-11815
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-11815
An issue was discovered in rds_tcp_kill_sock in net/rds/tcp.c in the Linux kernel before 5.0.8. There is a race condition leading to a use-after-free, related to net namespace cleanup. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00037.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00043.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00071.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/153799/Kernel-Live-Patch-Security-Notice-LSN-0053-1.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/108283 https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.0.8 https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/ • CWE-362: Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') CWE-416: Use After Free •
CVE-2018-20836 – kernel: race condition in smp_task_timedout() and smp_task_done() in drivers/scsi/libsas/sas_expander.c leads to use-after-free
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-20836
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 4.20. There is a race condition in smp_task_timedout() and smp_task_done() in drivers/scsi/libsas/sas_expander.c, leading to a use-after-free. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s implementation of the SAS expander subsystem, where a race condition exists in the smp_task_timedout() and smp_task_done() in drivers/scsi/libsas/sas_expander.c. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00014.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00025.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/108196 https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=b90cd6f2b905905fb42671009dc0e27c310a16ae https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/b90cd6f2b905905fb42671009dc0e27c310a16ae https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/08/msg00016.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/08/msg00017.h • CWE-362: Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') CWE-416: Use After Free •
CVE-2019-3900 – Kernel: vhost_net: infinite loop while receiving packets leads to DoS
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-3900
An infinite loop issue was found in the vhost_net kernel module in Linux Kernel up to and including v5.1-rc6, while handling incoming packets in handle_rx(). It could occur if one end sends packets faster than the other end can process them. A guest user, maybe remote one, could use this flaw to stall the vhost_net kernel thread, resulting in a DoS scenario. • http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/155212/Slackware-Security-Advisory-Slackware-14.2-kernel-Updates.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/108076 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1973 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2029 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2043 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3220 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3309 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3517 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3836 http • CWE-835: Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop') •
CVE-2019-3882 – kernel: denial of service vector through vfio DMA mappings
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-3882
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's vfio interface implementation that permits violation of the user's locked memory limit. If a device is bound to a vfio driver, such as vfio-pci, and the local attacker is administratively granted ownership of the device, it may cause a system memory exhaustion and thus a denial of service (DoS). Versions 3.10, 4.14 and 4.18 are vulnerable. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00037.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00043.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-05/msg00071.html https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2029 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2043 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3309 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3517 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2019-3882 https://l • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling •
