CVE-2018-17458 – chromium-browser: Function signature mismatch in WebAssembly
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-17458
An improper update of the WebAssembly dispatch table in WebAssembly in Google Chrome prior to 69.0.3497.92 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. • https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2818 https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2018/09/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_11.html https://crbug.com/875322 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2018-17458 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1628078 • CWE-129: Improper Validation of Array Index •
CVE-2018-17459 – chromium-browser: URL Spoofing in Omnibox
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-17459
Incorrect handling of clicks in the omnibox in Navigation in Google Chrome prior to 69.0.3497.92 allowed a remote attacker to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a crafted HTML page. • https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2818 https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2018/09/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_11.html https://crbug.com/880759 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2018-17459 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1628080 •
CVE-2018-11763 – Apache2 mod_http2 header Denial of Service Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-11763
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.17 to 2.4.34, by sending continuous, large SETTINGS frames a client can occupy a connection, server thread and CPU time without any connection timeout coming to effect. This affects only HTTP/2 connections. A possible mitigation is to not enable the h2 protocol. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00030.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00056.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105414 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041713 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:3558 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0366 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0367 https://httpd.apache.org/security/vulnerabilities_24.html https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/56c2e7cc9deb1c12a843d0dc251ea7f • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
CVE-2018-14634 – Linux Kernel 2.6.x / 3.10.x / 4.14.x (RedHat / Debian / CentOS) (x64) - 'Mutagen Astronomy' Local Privilege Escalation
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-14634
An integer overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's create_elf_tables() function. An unprivileged local user with access to SUID (or otherwise privileged) binary could use this flaw to escalate their privileges on the system. Kernel versions 2.6.x, 3.10.x and 4.14.x are believed to be vulnerable. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/45516 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/07/20/2 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105407 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2748 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2763 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2846 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2924 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2925 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2933 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA- • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound •
CVE-2018-12385 – Mozilla: Crash in TransportSecurityInfo due to cached data
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-12385
A potentially exploitable crash in TransportSecurityInfo used for SSL can be triggered by data stored in the local cache in the user profile directory. This issue is only exploitable in combination with another vulnerability allowing an attacker to write data into the local cache or from locally installed malware. This issue also triggers a non-exploitable startup crash for users switching between the Nightly and Release versions of Firefox if the same profile is used. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.2.1, Firefox ESR < 60.2.1, and Firefox < 62.0.2. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105380 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041700 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041701 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2834 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2835 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:3403 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:3458 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1490585 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2018/11/msg00011.html https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201810- • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-119: Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer •
