A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Due to a race condition between nf_tables netlink control plane transaction and nft_set element garbage collection, it is possible to underflow the reference counter causing a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit 3e91b0ebd994635df2346353322ac51ce84ce6d8. A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/sched: cls_u32 component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. When u32_change() is called on an existing filter, the whole tcf_result struct is always copied into the new instance of the filter. This causes a problem when updating a filter bound to a class, as tcf_unbind_filter() is always called on the old instance in the success path, decreasing filter_cnt of the still referenced class and allowing it to be deleted, leading to a use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit 3044b16e7c6fe5d24b1cdbcf1bd0a9d92d1ebd81. • https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=3044b16e7c6fe5d24b1cdbcf1bd0a9d92d1ebd81 https://kernel.dance/3044b16e7c6fe5d24b1cdbcf1bd0a9d92d1ebd81 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2024/01/msg00004.html https://www.debian.org/security/2023/dsa-5492 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2023-4208 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2225511 • CWE-416: Use After Free •

A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net/sched: cls_route component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. When route4_change() is called on an existing filter, the whole tcf_result struct is always copied into the new instance of the filter. This causes a problem when updating a filter bound to a class, as tcf_unbind_filter() is always called on the old instance in the success path, decreasing filter_cnt of the still referenced class and allowing it to be deleted, leading to a use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit b80b829e9e2c1b3f7aae34855e04d8f6ecaf13c8. • https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=b80b829e9e2c1b3f7aae34855e04d8f6ecaf13c8 https://kernel.dance/b80b829e9e2c1b3f7aae34855e04d8f6ecaf13c8 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2024/01/msg00004.html https://www.debian.org/security/2023/dsa-5492 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2023-4206 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2225511 • CWE-416: Use After Free •

In bluetooth driver, there is a possible out of bounds read due to improper input validation. This could lead to local information leak with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS07867212; Issue ID: ALPS07867212. • https://corp.mediatek.com/product-security-bulletin/September-2023 • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
