CVE-2018-20796
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-20796
In the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.29, check_dst_limits_calc_pos_1 in posix/regexec.c has Uncontrolled Recursion, as demonstrated by '(\227|)(\\1\\1|t1|\\\2537)+' in grep. En la biblioteca GNU C (también conocida como glibc o libc6), hasta la versión 2.29, check_dst_limits_calc_pos_1 en posix/regexec.c tiene una recursión no controlada, tal y como queda demostrado con "(\227|)(\\1\\1|t1|\\\2537)+" en grep. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/107160 https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=34141 https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnulib/2019-01/msg00108.html https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20190315-0002 https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K26346590?utm_source=f5support&%3Butm_medium=RSS • CWE-674: Uncontrolled Recursion •
CVE-2019-3823 – curl: SMTP end-of-response out-of-bounds read
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-3823
libcurl versions from 7.34.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a heap out-of-bounds read in the code handling the end-of-response for SMTP. If the buffer passed to `smtp_endofresp()` isn't NUL terminated and contains no character ending the parsed number, and `len` is set to 5, then the `strtol()` call reads beyond the allocated buffer. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106950 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3701 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2019-3823 https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-936080.pdf https://curl.haxx.se/docs/CVE-2019-3823.html https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/8338a0f605bdbb3a6098bb76f666a95fc2b2f53f37fa1ecc89f1146f%40%3Cdevnull.infra.apache.org%3E https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201903-03 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20190315-0001 https://usn.ubuntu • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •
CVE-2018-16890 – curl: NTLM type-2 heap out-of-bounds buffer read
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-16890
libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 is vulnerable to a heap buffer out-of-bounds read. The function handling incoming NTLM type-2 messages (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:ntlm_decode_type2_target`) does not validate incoming data correctly and is subject to an integer overflow vulnerability. Using that overflow, a malicious or broken NTLM server could trick libcurl to accept a bad length + offset combination that would lead to a buffer read out-of-bounds. • https://github.com/michelleamesquita/CVE-2018-16890 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106947 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3701 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2018-16890 https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-436177.pdf https://curl.haxx.se/docs/CVE-2018-16890.html https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/8338a0f605bdbb3a6098bb76f666a95fc2b2f53f37fa1ecc89f1146f%40%3Cdevnull.infra.apache.org%3E https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20190315-0001 https://sup • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound •
CVE-2019-3822 – curl: NTLMv2 type-3 header stack buffer overflow
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-3822
libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function creating an outgoing NTLM type-3 header (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:Curl_auth_create_ntlm_type3_message()`), generates the request HTTP header contents based on previously received data. The check that exists to prevent the local buffer from getting overflowed is implemented wrongly (using unsigned math) and as such it does not prevent the overflow from happening. This output data can grow larger than the local buffer if very large 'nt response' data is extracted from a previous NTLMv2 header provided by the malicious or broken HTTP server. Such a 'large value' needs to be around 1000 bytes or more. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106950 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3701 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2019-3822 https://cert-portal.siemens.com/productcert/pdf/ssa-436177.pdf https://curl.haxx.se/docs/CVE-2019-3822.html https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/8338a0f605bdbb3a6098bb76f666a95fc2b2f53f37fa1ecc89f1146f%40%3Cdevnull.infra.apache.org%3E https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201903-03 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20190315-0001 https://security.n • CWE-121: Stack-based Buffer Overflow CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •
CVE-2018-5498
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-5498
Clustered Data ONTAP versions 9.0 through 9.4 are susceptible to a vulnerability which allows remote authenticated attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) in NFS and SMB environments. Exploitation of this vulnerability will allow a remote authenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) on affected versions of clustered Data ONTAP configured for multiprotocol access. • https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20190115-0001 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
