CVE-2019-1757 – Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software Smart Call Home Certificate Validation Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-1757
A vulnerability in the Cisco Smart Call Home feature of Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to gain unauthorized read access to sensitive data using an invalid certificate. The vulnerability is due to insufficient certificate validation by the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by supplying a crafted certificate to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to conduct man-in-the-middle attacks to decrypt confidential information on user connections to the affected software. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/107617 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20190327-call-home-cert • CWE-295: Improper Certificate Validation •
CVE-2019-1746 – Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software Cluster Management Protocol Denial of Service Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-1746
A vulnerability in the Cluster Management Protocol (CMP) processing code in Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to trigger a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation when processing CMP management packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious CMP management packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could cause the switch to crash, resulting in a DoS condition. The switch will reload automatically. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/107612 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20190327-cmp-dos • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
CVE-2018-0167 – Cisco IOS, XR, and XE Software Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-0167
Multiple Buffer Overflow vulnerabilities in the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) subsystem of Cisco IOS Software, Cisco IOS XE Software, and Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition or execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges on an affected device. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCuo17183, CSCvd73487. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCuo17183, CSCvd73487. There is a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) subsystem of Cisco IOS Software, Cisco IOS XE Software, and Cisco IOS XR Software which could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition or execute arbitrary code. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/103564 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1040586 https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/advisories/ICSA-18-107-03 https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/advisories/ICSA-18-107-04 https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/advisories/ICSA-18-107-05 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20180328-lldp • CWE-119: Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer •
CVE-2018-0173 – Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software Improper Input Validation Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-0173
A vulnerability in the Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software function that restores encapsulated option 82 information in DHCP Version 4 (DHCPv4) packets could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload, resulting in a Relay Reply denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability exists because the affected software performs incomplete input validation of encapsulated option 82 information that it receives in DHCPOFFER messages from DHCPv4 servers. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted DHCPv4 packet to an affected device, which the device would then forward to a DHCPv4 server. When the affected software processes the option 82 information that is encapsulated in the response from the server, an error could occur. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/103545 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1040591 https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/advisories/ICSA-18-107-04 https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/advisories/ICSA-18-107-05 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20180328-dhcpr2 https://www.tenable.com/security/research/tra-2018-06 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
CVE-2018-0174 – Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software Improper Input Validation Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-0174
A vulnerability in the DHCP option 82 encapsulation functionality of Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability exists because the affected software performs incomplete input validation of option 82 information that it receives in DHCP Version 4 (DHCPv4) packets from DHCP relay agents. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted DHCPv4 packet to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.
