CVE-2018-5743 – Limiting simultaneous TCP clients was ineffective
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-5743
25 Apr 2019 — By design, BIND is intended to limit the number of TCP clients that can be connected at any given time. The number of allowed connections is a tunable parameter which, if unset, defaults to a conservative value for most servers. Unfortunately, the code which was intended to limit the number of simultaneous connections contained an error which could be exploited to grow the number of simultaneous connections beyond this limit. Versions affected: BIND 9.9.0 -> 9.10.8-P1, 9.11.0 -> 9.11.6, 9.12.0 -> 9.12.4, 9.... • https://kb.isc.org/docs/cve-2018-5743 • CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling •

CVE-2019-1559 – 0-byte record padding oracle
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-1559
26 Feb 2019 — If an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSL_shutdown() twice (once to send a close_notify, and once to receive one) then OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. If the application then behaves differently based on that in a way that is detectable to the remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. CVE-2019-9075 – Gentoo Linux Security Advisory 202107-24
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-9075
24 Feb 2019 — An issue was discovered in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.32. It is a heap-based buffer overflow in _bfd_archive_64_bit_slurp_armap in archive64.c. CVE-2019-8331 – bootstrap: XSS in the tooltip or popover data-template attribute
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-8331
20 Feb 2019 — In Bootstrap before 3.4.1 and 4.3.x before 4.3.1, XSS is possible in the tooltip or popover data-template attribute. En Bootstrap, en versiones anteriores a la 3.4.1 y versiones 4.3.x anteriores a la 4.3.1, es posible Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) en los atributos de data-template tooltip o popover. A cross-site scripting vulnerability was discovered in bootstrap. CVE-2019-6974 – Linux - 'kvm_ioctl_create_device()' NULL Pointer Dereference
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-6974
15 Feb 2019 — In the Linux kernel before 4.20.8, kvm_ioctl_create_device in virt/kvm/kvm_main.c mishandles reference counting because of a race condition, leading to a use-after-free. A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the way the Linux kernel's KVM hypervisor imp... • https://packetstorm.news/files/id/151690 • CWE-362: Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') CWE-416: Use After Free •

CVE-2018-13405 – Linux (Ubuntu) - Other Users coredumps Can Be Read via setgid Directory and killpriv Bypass
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-13405
06 Jul 2018 — The inode_init_owner function in fs/inode.c in the Linux kernel through 3.16 allows local users to create files with an unintended group ownership, in a scenario where a directory is SGID to a certain group and is writable by a user who is not a member of that group. Here, the non-member can trigger creation of a plain file whose group ownership is that group. The intended behavior was that the non-member can trigger creation of a directory (but not a plain file) whose group ownership is that group.
